Speedy deletion nomination of File:Julie S. Dermaksy, photojournalist, standing on war plane in Iraq, 2010.png

A tag has been placed on File:Julie S. Dermaksy, photojournalist, standing on war plane in Iraq, 2010.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Speedy deletion

“ I received a Dec 26 notice from you to delete a redundant photo: A tag has been placed on File:Julie S. Dermaksy, photojournalist, standing on war plane in Iraq, 2010.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated. However, after reviewing the links you sent, I still have no idea how to speedily delete it. I realize I uploaded it twice because the documentation explaining how to upload using the various copyright methods was unclear. The photo belongs to the photographer Julie Dermansky. My questions: Will it just get deleted (since you've tagged it redundant), if I don't do anything? What should I do? ”

As far as I can see, an administrator has already deleted one of the files so that only one copy remains. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:27, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
