Your edit to Abdul Taib Mahmud
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to this article. However, I found out that some of your added sources are unreliable. First, I removed the AlHaj blog because blog is normally unreliable unless it is a prominent person who is addressing something important in his official blog. And you must state that it is this person who is giving this statement. Opinion column in newspaper is also not reliable because anybody with opinion can write to this opinion column. Normally, opinions expressed by prominent people are published in the news section of a newspaper, not the opinion column. About your citation to Melanau, you have used a Wikipedia mirror site to cite the statement. Wikipedia discourage any citations in a wikipage with another wikipage. You should place a title for your citation, not the publisher, for easy identification. I have replaced some of your publisher citations with titles already. Anyway, please continue editing to improve the quality of Malaysia articles! I wish you happy editing! Cerevisae (talk) 05:59, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Edits to the Sarawak and Abdul Taib Mahmud articles
[edit]Dear Akmar,
Thank you for your recent interest in editing Wikipedia. I notice that your recent edits to two articles — Sarawak (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) and Abdul Taib Mahmud (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) — while adding a few things, appear to be politically motivated. If you feel that these articles are unbalanced, it would be better to begin a discussion on how best to improve them on the article talk pages rather than delete the work of others. I have tried my best to repair these articles. If you would like to talk about these issues, please feel free to respond here or on my user talk page. — Gareth Hughes (talk) 00:07, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
Meet-up: Editors from Malaysia
[edit]Hello! You might or might not have seen me around here as I've not been active in Wikipedia the past few months. Before leaving for NS, it was my intention to form a Malaysian user group. I'm still very much interested in forming the group. However, before forming the group, I would love to organize a meet-up between editors of the Malaysian editing community to test the waters and hear what you guys might have to say. To my knowledge, there has not been a Wikipedia meet-up in this country before. I don't mind organizing the meet-up but need to know if anyone is interested in joining the meet-up. So... please reply and let me know if you would be interested in joining a meet-up and your ideas/thoughts about a user group. Thank you.
Looking forward to hearing from you, Bejinhantalks 12:27, 15 December 2012 (UTC) (Message delivered by EdwardsBot (talk) 12:27, 15 December 2012 (UTC))
