Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! Hi AkshayAnad. While I understand that you may be working on an improvement to an existing article, such a thing is not considered an exemption to Wikipedia's non-free content use policy so please do not re-add the files to your sandbox again. When whatever you're working on has been adding to an article, you may re-add the files to that article as long as their use in the article satisfies all ten non-free content use criteria. If you're working on a draft for a new article, please add the files after the draft has been approved as an article as explained in WP:DRAFTS#Preparing drafts.

It also appears you were advised not to do this kind of thing before by an administrator named SpacemanSpiff at User talk:AkshayAnand#User:AkshayAnand/sandbox/3. Hey! Thanks for the message. The table in Bigg Boss Kannada article mentions all the contestants, color-coded for different references. Few contestants have wiki articles while many don't. The respective wikilinks have been given on the articles for different seasons. The wikilinking you have made on the Bigg Boss Kannada 4 has not been reverted. To maintain the uniformity and not to mess up with the color-coding, the wikilinks for contestants have been removed on the Bigg Boss Kannada article which summarizes all editions of the show.

Hi! Thanks for contacting me. The logo which was replaced was also uploaded by me; there was no source to say that it was the official one. It was a proposed logo and I found it on the logo designer's website. There are no other sources for this logo. Many sources were generated after I uploaded the earlier logo on Wikipedia which made people download the same and use it, duplicating the same logo numerous times on the internet. It was nowhere used by the ICC too.

However, the new logo I uploaded today was the same one that was uploaded by ICC on its verified social media accounts yesterday without an actual announcement. Please note this was the first and only logo used by the ICC on social media for the depiction of World Cup 2019 on its posts like this and this. The previous logo was never used by the ICC. I feel the new logo's web presence through official and verified social media channels of ICC are sufficient to consider the logo official. Supporting Indian Wikipedia Program resource distribution

In 2017 - 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India chapter (WMIN) and user groups will pilot a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program (Code name: Project Tiger) will:

(a) Support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and

(b) Sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.

The objective of the program is to provide laptops and internet stipends for existing editors who need support to contribute more actively. 50 basic model Acer Chromebooks and Internet stipends for 100 contributors are available for distribution. Provided resources are the sole property of the beneficiaries and should be used for the betterment of the movement.

If you're an active Wikimedian, and interested to receive support from this project, please apply. It will take around 10 minutes of your time, and will ask descriptive questions about your contribution to Indic Wikimedia projects.

Project Tiger Writing Contest

In 2017 – 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India Chapter (WMIN) and user groups from India, are piloting a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program will (a) support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and (b) sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.

Phase (a) has been completed, during which active contributors were awarded laptops and internet stipends. Phase (b) will be a contest in which editors will come together and develop a writing contest focused on content gaps. Each month three individual prizes will be awarded to each community based on their contribution for the month. The prizes worth 3,000 INR, 2000 INR, and 1,000 INR, will be awarded to the top contributors for each month. The contest started at March 1, 2018, 0:00, and will end at May 31, 2018, 23:59 (IST). In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Dear Manthara, Please watch the movie. If you have already watched, please watch it again. It is clearly said during the first half itself that Kamal is his son. If you have observed, it is because of this reason Andrews tries to keep Kamal away from Rocky whenever possible. Also, because Kamal and Reena are son and daughter of two dons - Andrews and Rajendra respectively, they would be in the relationship as shown in the movie.
