Sorry!
[edit]Apologies for spelling your username wrong. In real life, I have worked with people from various countries and ethnic origins and always double check the spelling of names. I am embarrassed to have failed to do so on Wikipedia. Cheers. Bluewave (talk) 20:06, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- Hey Bluewave, don't fret about it. :`) It's seriously no big deal. I just corrected/mentioned it, beacuase it was twice in two succeeding posts by you and someone else. So no harm done. But thanks for the nice reply. Cheers Akuram (talk) 12:57, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
Just a thought in regards of MoMK
[edit]I remember a German expression: "Unkraut vergeht nicht". Therefore I think it's best to ignore and not think of it as there is no sense in fighting it with water. Best wishes to Stuttgart, The Magnificent Clean-keeper (talk) 02:37, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
- Jep, I agree. Some things or people are just not worth the hassle. Akuram (talk) 09:18, 29 April 2010 (UTC)

- :) Sometimes reading and writing in english presents some understanding problems for me. I somehow manage to see sarcasm and irony, when there is none. Akuram (talk) 19:58, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- No sarcasm was intended from my side (at least in this case ;) ). Besides that, we all have sometimes problems when posts seem to be open to wild interpretation. The Magnificent Clean-keeper (talk) 20:13, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- Good edit/work. German precision I guess ;) Nur weiter so... The Magnificent Clean-keeper (talk) 18:04, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- Danke Dir! I try my best to keep the two "sides" happy while still secretly deleting them both. By the way, whats up with the German? I thought you are an American. Have you ever been to Germany? Akuram (talk) 18:16, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome (in regards of "Danke Dir! and else). But I need to stress that there are more than "two sides" of editors. There is an ongoing problem by certain editors who paint it constantly as a two way road, despite being told different by most editors that there is also the middle road (called NPOV). Editors who are constantly being tried to put in a certain "Schublade" do not hold one view or another, me included. There is just no way to convince the "real outspoken other side" that all they're facing is editors trying to bring this article to a real NPOV and WP standard. That's the main problem in my view.
- And yes, I am an American but had the (rare?) opportunity of experiencing other cultures and languages. So yes, I've been in Germany (and other countries) and even lived there for quite some time ;) . Cheers to the Swabians (assuming you are one), The Magnificent Clean-keeper (talk) 19:17, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- PS: Again, bezueglich der "Seiten", da sollten keine sein, just to make my stand point clear.
- PS 2: Keep on trying or to say it more clearly: Keep on editing since you do a good job when it comes to NOPV policy IMO.
- Good for you to have traveled the world. I have done so myself a bit and can only recommend it to anyone else. It just simply broadens your cultural and intellectual horizon. I totally agree with your approach of the subject, but some self involved persons are hard to convince that there is life beyond their horizon, so to speak and to keep to above expression.
By the way, I am actually from Karlsruhe which is just about 60 miles west of Stuttgart and therefore no Swabian. I just happen to work and live now in Stuttgart. I am from Baden, called a "Badener" and we have a bit of a rivalry going on with the Swabians. (Maybe like Canada and the USA? Just on a smaller scale obviously) :`) Whereabouts from the US are you coming from? I have travelled the west coast and went east from there as far as Denver/Colorado and Wyoming. Akuram (talk) 00:56, 13 May 2010 (UTC)!

- Well, what else than "ditto" can I say regarding your first paragraph? I'm with you there and wish more of my fellow citizen's would so the same if they have the opportunity.
- Karlsruhe? So you're a "Badenser" (if I pronounced it correctly) and I hope you won't feel offended (as I think it has some offensive potential if I remember right). *innocent smile*. I guess you can see, that I have more knowledge (even so not enough) about other countries than mine and might not fit into the "typical" few about Americans. Ever heard that (American) joke? "What do you call a person who speaks only one language? Answer: An American". See? I don't mind making fun of our people like I don't mind joking about foreigners and pulling their leg. XD! I'm sure you don't mind either the other way around ;)
- I don't like to give to much information on Wiki so let me say that I live at a south-east US state. Nice warm weather most of the time although we have to deal with hurricanes of and on, not lately thou.
- BTW: No need to leave me a talkpage notice as indicated at my talk at the big yellow box on top of it and since yesterday there is a editnotice indicating the same which can be seen (or overlooked, seems like) when you intend to place an edit at my talk. Just saying ;) Cheers, und beste Gruesse, The Magnificent Clean-keeper (talk) 20:19, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
