Fasayil

Hi, 9 years ago you added this to Fasayil. I cannot find the source which you used then, can you? As someone just noticed at that page, a 1980s founding appears to contradict the earlier history. As Khirbet Fasayil it was in the 1931 census and 1945 survey, and as Fasayil it was in the 1961 Jordanian census and the 1967 Israeli WB census. Thanks. Zero^talk 06:35, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

Perhaps it is because Fasayil has multiple parts, see the paragraph "A village surrounded by settlements" here. I read that Fasayil al Wusta was founded by bedouin from the Bethlehem area in the 1980s. Zero^talk 07:12, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

@Zero0000: I can't find it anymore either. There is this archived link but it doesn't seem to load the online pdf. Maybe it'll work for you: [1]. Do you remember where you read about Fasayil al-Wusta? We could replace the dead link info with your source. That archive link doesn't work for me either. There are three parts of Fasayil, from south to north: Fasayil (area B), Fasayil al Wusta (area C), Fasayil al Fauqa (area C). Lots of activist sources, like this one say that Fasayil al Wusta is a bedouin community which came from the Bethlehem area in the 1980s. We need a more citable source explaining this. The main problems with demolition of structures have been at Fasayil al Wusta, but many sources confusingly just write Fasayil. We can fix this but need to work on finding sources. I'll make a map. Keeping templates permanently open?

Hi,

I have made User:Huldra/Syria to have texts, maps & templates, pertaining to Syria, easily available to me. However, it is rather cumbersome to click the "show" in those templates (for Daraa District, Al-Sanamayn District, etc) open each time I use that page.

Is there a way to keep the templates permanently open on just that page? Cheers, Huldra (talk) 21:02, 19 August 2015 (UTC)

@Huldra: I'm trying to find a way. I want to just copy and past the templates to a separate page like User:Huldra/Daraa Uncollapsed, but I'm having trouble permanently uncollapsing each district's section. --Al Ameer (talk) 22:45, 19 August 2015 (UTC)

Ok, thanks. It is not a big deal; don´t spend too much time on it. (It might be a job for a template-wizard?) I note that the Quneitra Governorate is set on permanent open, though, unlike Daraa Governorate, or Al-Suwayda Governorate, Huldra (talk) 22:59, 19 August 2015 (UTC)

@Huldra: The specific problem I'm encountering with the Daraa and Suwayda templates is the collapsible sub-sections for each district. I can't figure out how to uncollapse them. With Quneitra, there aren't separate collapsible sections. An editor who knows templates better might indeed be the best option here. --Al Ameer (talk) 23:07, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
