A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. Atlantic306 (talk) 01:43, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ukrainian Women's Congress, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 1292simon (talk) 22:37, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to Eastern Europe or the Balkans, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Please also see WP:RUSUKR. As a result of this, non-extended-confirmed editors cannot make edits to articles with content about Russia-Ukraine war. Thanks. Mellk (talk) 22:42, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is a violation. Non-extended confirmed editors are unable to make edits about Russia–Ukraine war, broadly construed. Please be careful next time as it can lead to a block. Mellk (talk) 20:36, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is the last warning from me. Since you are still continuing to make edits about the war and have not responded once on your talk page, the next step will be requesting a block if it continues. Mellk (talk) 11:57, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mellk, Sorry, I didn't see the message notification on my talk page. Viewed this page: WP:RUSUKR. --Alex091981 (talk) 20:43, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

May I consult with you about the information I would like to add? I am not writing something specific about the Russian-Ukrainian war, there are just some topics and sometimes the Russian-Ukrainian war is mentioned. Do I understand correctly that I have no right to mention the Russian-Ukrainian war at all? --Alex091981 (talk) 20:43, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think this is not a violation? Only extended-confirmed editors may make edits related to the topic area. Mellk (talk) 08:34, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Mellk, I asked you earlier if I could consult with you. But you didn't answer anything. Regarding this, I simply took the information from the Ukrainian version (I didn't mean to do anything wrong, I was just translating the usual information about the person). Is there a list of experienced vetted editors somewhere that I can refer to? How do they become verified editors? And what, for example, in this section was about the Russian-Ukrainian war, why did you delete this information? --Alex091981 (talk) 09:32, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WP:RUSUKR very clearly says you must be extended confirmed to make any edits about the war, broadly construed. This is what I have also repeated (WP:IDHT). It does not matter whether you copied the information from a different project or not. And yes, you mentioned the annexation of Crimea, this falls under broadly construed. I reverted you to enforce the restriction. You are asking questions that are answered on the page I have linked to you several times. Mellk (talk) 09:39, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for explaining this topic in even more detail. Regarding the topic of Crimea, there was only one sentence about the annexation of Crimea, and you canceled all my edits. Please explain. --Alex091981 (talk) 10:00, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
On any page where the restriction is not enforced through extended confirmed protection, this restriction may be enforced by other methods, including page protection, reverts, blocks, the use of pending changes, and appropriate edit filters. If you wish to restore information, then you can do this, but any more edits related to the topic area (broadly construed) will indicate that a block is necessary. Thanks for your contributions to Nikita Andreev (Yakutian independence activist). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CurryTime7-24 (talk) 23:23, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Nikita Andreev (Yakutian independence activist). Thanks! CurryTime7-24 (talk) 23:30, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
