Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Polished concrete, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grit (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

DYK nomination of Ivan Golunov

Hello! Your submission of Ivan Golunov at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Yoninah (talk) 00:29, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

Alexander Davronov, it looks like the other creator of the article has been blocked, and the nominator has not been responsive. Might you be interested in offering an alternate hook or otherwise addressing the most recent comments made by reviewers? If there isn't a post in the near future, I'm afraid the nomination may end up being closed. Thanks for anything you can do. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:50, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

DYK for Ivan Golunov

On 26 September 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ivan Golunov, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that just prior to his arrest in 2019, investigative journalist Ivan Golunov was examining the links between Moscow funeral businesses and the Federal Security Service? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ivan Golunov. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Ivan Golunov), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

References

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN.

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "cite" click on it
  2. Then click on "templates",
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill in the details beside a magnifying glass followed by clicking said button,
  4. If the article is available in Pubmed Central, you have to add the pmc parameter manually -- click on "show additional fields" in the template and you will see the "pmc" field. Please add just the number and don't include "PMC".

We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a note. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 06:47, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!

July 2020

Information icon Hi Alexander Davronov! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. DrKay (talk) 10:46, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

Be careful of WP:OWN

As being primary contributor to the sidebar content BTW this is sort of WP:OWN (even though I agree with you overall!) but it's a good idea to avoid saying things like that :) Leijurv (talk) 17:47, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

@Leijurv: Much agreed! I should have probably pointed out that I've creaetd it in the first place and when I did it I've a clear purpose for it which remains still (as it can be seen from the content). My mistake. 😬 AXONOV (talk) 17:56, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

3O

Please note that I have declined your request at WP:3O. As indicated by the title, 3O is explicitly for disputes where a third opinion is desired, and I saw more than three involved editors at the discussion you linked to. You are welcome to consider other forms of dispute resolution. Cheers! DonIago (talk) 18:00, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
