Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:23, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sejanus

[edit]

Be careful with the self-righteous edit summaries. If you'd looked at the article's original state, you'd have found that the name did read Seianus in the lede. I don't mind betting the change was the work of one of the incompetent URLs we have to put up with here on WP in the name of inclusiveness! I have to point out, however, that Sejanus has been standard English usage for the past four centuries at least and that the title of the article in the current Encyclopedia Britannica uses that form of the name. Restored Deleted Edit on William R. Spencer

[edit]

Hi. You had commented on the William R. Spencer article that there was no mention of Dr. Spencer's arrest. Previous to your posted comment, there had been a one line entry on his arrest in 2020. The edit and reference detailing his arrest was deleted prior to your comment by someone near Huntington Station on Long Island (possibly someone involved). I restored the deleted edit and added to the article information, because you are correct that this type of information should absolutely be included in Wikipedia and its article coverage. Happy editing... Steve Stevenmitchell (talk) 22:59, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
