Hi, can you please speculate why you are not willing to include Suzanne Eisendieck name (German Post-Impressionist artist) on your listing for Post-Impressionist Wikipedia pages. She is very well known painter and was married to another famous German artist Dietz Edzard? Thank you for your time (AKresearch (talk) 10:30, 14 October 2015 (UTC))[reply]

According to this article - Winifred Nicholson, who was Nicholson's first wife, the Nicholson's divorced in 1938....Modernist (talk) 12:38, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I am writing the german articles about Barbara Hepworth and Ben Nicolson. Unfortunately I found the Years 1932, 1933 and 1938 for her marriage in the web. Some sites dont mention the year. What about the encyclopädia britannica, is it possible for you to get there? Wikipedias Winifred must not be okay either.
Greetings -- Alinea

Hi, according to the Tate's website biography of Hepworth:[1] they met in 1931 - both married. Hepworth divorced her husband in 1933, they had kids together (triplets) in 1934, and they married in 1938. Modernist (talk) 13:47, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help and have a nice day -- Alinea (talk) 14:36, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pablo Picasso, Le bock (Portrait de Jaime Sabartes)

[edit]

Hello Alinea. See Talk page regarding the date of 1902 for this painting. Please feel free to point to a reliable source for the 1901 date, I will gladly change the title of the JPG image file. Coldcreation (talk) 19:27, 15 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Coldcreation, you are right, Raynal says 1902. This is my source for 1901: http://www.pablo-ruiz-picasso.net/theme-jaimesabartes.php. Picasso painted Sabartes several times: [2] and have a look at this source please: http://www.artnet.com/magazineus/features/kuspit/kuspit1-24-06-19.asp. Maybe it is not "The Bock" but "The Glass of Beer", perhaps a mistake of Raynal? Feel free to decide. Greetings -- Alinea (talk) 10:18, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for you response. I also found an interesting source (the googlebooks reference above is a good one too). I will make the change (1901-02), and upload a darker version of the painting.Coldcreation (talk) 17:05, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
