password[edit]

I am currently logged onto this account on two devices. Eventually I will be logged out automatically. I have no record of the password I used to create the account six months ago. This means that not only am I unable to change the password, I am not able to attach an email address to this account. Is there any way forward from here? Aside from my trying everything I can think of I might have used as a password while I can? almost-true 15:00, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

unfortunately when I click Add An Email Address I get a message saying 'You must log in again to verify that you are Almost-true.' almost-true 15:33, 3 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In which case someone would need permissions to manually update this and verify you are you. If you have always edited from the same IP address a CheckUser may be able to do this, and then not sure what if any level could manually update an email address (maybe an Administrators could but more likely need a higher level if it's possible at all). My translation includes the German sources. Have I trusted the German wikipedia editors? Yes. In doing so, have I followed English wikipedia convention? Yes.
