The warning label matters because it's letting us know the information they already have might not be reliable they just want us to be aware.

2. Is the lead section of the article easy to understand? Does it summarize the key points of the article? Yes it is easy to understand because as soon as you start reading it gives you insight on the facts and the background.

3. Is the structure of the article clear? “Are there several headings and subheadings, images and diagrams at appropriate places, and appendices and footnotes at the end?” Yes the structure is clear the subheadings are bold which separates new information if I was looking for a specific word the subheading are very helpful. There are not many images only one or two.

4. Are “the various aspects of the topic balanced well”? That is does it seem to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic? Yes the topic is explained well and easy to find specific information.Everything is balanced well and has a good overview of the topic.

5. Does the article provide a “neutral point of view”? Does it read like an encyclopedia article instead of a persuasive essay? The article I am reading on gospel music has a very neutral point of view it's informing me on the background and how it was started. It doesn't jump right in forcing me to go listen to it.

6. Are the references and footnotes citing reliable sources? Do they point to scholarly and trustworthy information? Beware of references to blogs; look for references to books, scholarly journal articles, government sources, etc. Yes I seen a reliable book provided on the website. Broughton, Viv. Too Close to Heaven: The Illustrated History of Gospel Music. Midnight Books, 1996. ISBN 1-900516-00-4.

7. Look for these signs of bad quality and comment on their presence or absence from the article you are evaluating:

a. is the lead section well-written, in clear, correct English? Yes, I did not read upon any mistakes.

b. are there “unsourced opinions” and/or “value statements which are not neutral”?Yes at the bottom of the article

c. does the article refer “to ‘some,’ ‘many,’ or other unnamed groups of people,” instead of specific organizations or authors or facts? Yes and they also refer to individual people as well as groups.

d. does the article seem to omit aspects of the topic? No it provided background information and new and current information as well. Also provides songs and the people who sings them.

e. are some sections overly long compared to other sections of similar importance to the topic? Yes some subheadings are longer the long ones seem to be more informative.For example the "roots and background " topic rather than the "20th century" background paragraph one is shorter than the other.

f. does the article lack sufficient references or footnotes? Yes most of them seem to be individual people there's not too many companies or many books cited.

g. Look at the “View History” for the article. As you read the conversation there, do you see hostile dialogue or other evidence of lack of respectful treatment among the editors? The dialogue seems to be respectful I do not see any disrespectful dialogue among the editors.
