Meetup/Saskatoon/ArtAndFeminism December 5th 2015

[edit]

Hello Alreadymildneon, and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw a note posted here that you are going to be hosting an edit-a-thon (Wikipedia:Meetup/Saskatoon/ArtAndFeminism December 5th 2015) and are looking for a bit of assistance. I have hosted several edit-a-thons, so I'd be glad to try and answer your questions. I've bookmarked this talkpage so if you reply to me here, I'll return to this page to respond. Best, --Rosiestep (talk) 02:07, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Rosiestep, at this point, I am only slightly concerned about not having an "expert" with us. A few of us have done a bit of editing here and there but not to a great extent. The code is not really what's most intimidating, as we can always copy other pages... from what we've gathered, the choice of articles can make or break wether an article is sustained or not and we want to make sure that we are not pouring energies into articles that will not survive. Do you have any tips along those lines? So far, we've prioritized some Canadian women sound artists (our focus for the event) that have a track record, that have made a contribution. Thanks for responding, I'd appreciate any advice on how to ensure the sustainability of our work. THanks, Alreadymildneon (talk) 05:06, 3 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
