  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.Deb (talk) 08:44, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You haven't responded to this warning one way or another. I must ask you now to declare what your connection with Marta Soto is. If you won't do so, I may have to block you from editing. Deb (talk) 07:50, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is your last chance to tell us what your connection with Maria Soto is. If you continue to refuse to do so, I will block you. I am not helping you with anything until you respond. Deb (talk) 07:25, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi Deb. I have no relationship with Marta Soto. I met her a few days ago because I am a patrol in the new pages section and a certain Ivan asked me for help with his article. I helped him and there I realized that it was a valid item. I didn't know anything about Marta Soto a few days ago, I swear. I don't want a block, I just found the idea of making an article in English curious. I created this article before the Spanish version was marked as faulty. If you believe that my article has advertising content, please delete it. I repeat, I did not know who Marta Soto was. --Alternative Pain (talk) 07:37, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think that Ivan has a conflict of interest and I will be moving the article to draft for improvement. Deb (talk) 07:38, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi Deb. Ivan's article was deleted and I took care of fixing it. Her article praised the artist too much and it seemed like a biography taken from a fairy tale, it was very horrible to read it. But... where is the advertising content supposed to be? There is a quote from a review that, perhaps, I can understand that can be considered as such but, I do not understand exactly where the advertising is. --Alternative Pain (talk) 07:40, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • It's difficult to answer this, for two reasons:
  1. At the moment, the wording of the article is so confusing that it's difficult to tell what it's about. Most of the time you talk about Marta Soto as if she was a man.
  2. There are nuances in all languages which you probably would not be able to appreciate in English. That's why I suggest you seek someone else to review it.
If other experienced contributors look at this and decide that the promotional content has been adequately dealt with, they will remove the tag. But you should not remove tags yourself. Deb (talk) 11:03, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Okay Deb, Can you tell me if the item is ok now? Regards. --Alternative Pain (talk) 01:53, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • No, it isn't. Please seek further help by using the facilities available to you, e.g. Wikipedia:Teahouse. I am not going to keep going and checking the article for you. If you think it's all right, submit it for review and get feedback. Deb (talk) 09:11, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking[edit]

Hi, thanks for your work. Please remember that en.WP does not normally link years, dates, or common terms. Tony (talk) 03:09, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oh, thanks Tony for the warning. I mean, I know that but I have not checked the article Marta Soto in English because it gives me enough rejection. Anyway, thanks for making WIkipedia a better place. Alternative Pain (talk) 03:37, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
