actiTIME

[edit]

You would need to be able to add some references besides the company's own webpage, such as newspaper or magazine articles, books, etc., that mention and discuss the company. Bearcat (talk) 01:19, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on ActiTIME, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. As it has become apparent that your account will be used solely for unconstructive editing, you have been indefinitely blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest it by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} to this page. Kuru (talk) 13:48, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

had no intension to spam, currently trying to place "overturn and restore actiTIME article" request at Deletion review page if you unblock me

Decline reason:

User is discussing with blocking admin, will defer to blocking admin's judgment at this time. WGFinley (talk) 17:11, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Do you have any intention of making contributions other than those that promote your product? Kuru (talk) 14:27, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
1) Yes, I intend to add some material to the Timesheet article. 2) I just wonder what is the reason of the product to be deleted from Comparison page when there is quite a list of products and not all of them are notable?Alyadem (talk) 15:20, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Good to hear that. If you can cease activity related to your conflict of interest, and concentrate on adding encyclopedic information to articles, I would be delighted to revert this block. Kuru (talk) 15:29, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you in advance. I would be glad to do so. As for actiTIME - I would be glad to stop trying to recover an article as soon as situation with its deletion is cleared. I know other people were trying to create it in wiki against its rules, however, in summer 2010 I created a new article in compliance with wiki rules. Moreover,it was editied by other wiki admins(thanks to them) and have been on wiki (with all necessary citation and links) over a year for now. I was quite impressed to know it is deleted, so I discussed it with the admin who deleted the article and he suggested that I try to use Delete Review page. So I want to use my right, ask for review and see the result. Kind regards, Alya Alyadem (talk) 15:44, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think there would have been a problem had you taken his advice and went to DR; you instead began to add material about your product to other articles again. I'd be comfortable with unblocking so you can use DR, but agree to not add material about your product to any other pages unless the DR resolves in your favor. Does this sound acceptable? Kuru (talk) 16:57, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, this sounds perfect to me. Especially, cause I had already wrote the text for DR page before placing a note at Comparison page. Thank you!Alyadem (talk) 17:15, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, the block has been removed. Kuru (talk) 17:22, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
