  • I have reverted (manually) a number of your changes to Chelsea Manning. In short, not everything that can be wikilinked ought to be; a red link is perfectly valid it it concerns a likely notable person; and external links (like to the Cornell law site) are not to be done inline, certainly not if there are wikilinks available (you made one of those changes in the lead, and one further on down in the article). Thank you. Drmies (talk) 17:43, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Shane

[edit]

Hello there. How are you? I think it was quite rude of me to just simply revert the edits. Sorry. I have plans for the article - which seems obvious. It would be great if you could help out some time. The storyline section is already too long. An alternative, an encouraged one on here is to add development information on the filming, decisions made by the product about the character, information from the real world perspective on major storylines, information from Moennig about Shane's characterisation. Some words were misspelled, some were not. I will remember to adopt US English when writing in the future. One thing that was incorrect though was the series of sub-headings placed within the development section. Headings are meant to be used to split long sections up into appropriate ones. Seeings as the storyline section could be trimmed some more, having watched the series there are parts that can go. As for nicknames vs full names, go with WP:COMMONNAME. I have some L Word books with plenty of information in them. There is also a rich barrel of sources for the character. The L Word was well documented so there is scope to make a really good article here. I won't let it slip into old ways though. So special tapes, which were not actually tapes can be swallowed into a separate section in the development section. Hope that helps explain why. There was some good stuff added back in. But when you write an article you have to be concise. So instead of going around the estate to make a point - cut straight through it. I have done a similar thing with Jenny's article already - that is not finished yet either. I did promote it to GA status though. It would be nice to see a few more characters go that way. I believe these articles have much potential. So I did not revert you to detract from the article, more so because I was preserving ready for the rebuilding - because I care about the articles. As I do with any potentially great article. Hope you understand, I hope I explained it all clearly and not come off as horrible. Sorry again for the revert.Rain the 1 23:58, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm STATicVapor. I noticed that you made a change to an article, WWE Hall of Fame, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. STATic message me! 03:57, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unreliable sources

[edit]

Hi Amducker. I refer to your edit to Dwayne Johnson. You did great by adding a source, but unfortunately you added an unreliable source. Bleacher Report is an unreliable source because it can be written by anyone, not necessarily an expert in the field. Can I advise you to search like so if you ever need a reliable source. These five websites are approved reliable sources. For more information, please read WP:PW's style guide. Thank you. starship.paint ~ regal 13:53, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Considering how much information is actually available about the episode (That being the director, writers, title, being the 3rd episode of season 4 and the airdate) there isn't really anything else that could attribute creating a source for it. As such I do not think that you should've created the page already. Perhaps you should create it them at User:Amducker/Episode Title in future until further details are available. --Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 15:49, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Episode articles should not be created until after the episode airs (if at all) as there are no sufficient sources to cover it. As I stated last time with Rocky Road, perhaps you should work on it in your userspace (or in the draftspace) and then move it to the mainspace when the episode airs.--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 11:08, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Daniel A. Dailey, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Distinguished Service Medal. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
