Hello! A few things you should know as to why I reverted your edits:
- It is not "your" page. You have no greater "right" to it more than anyone else.
- Patch.com is self publishing and not citable on Wikipedia.
- A song is a song.

1. We have access to official college archives and information endorsed by the college; therefore, I have legitimate and accurate sources of information.
2. The alma mater at Trinity College has great historical significance and is a motto. It is not performed as much as it is read and cited as part of the College's motto. At small liberal arts colleges such as Trinity and Bowdoin, the alma mater has a great deal of significance at the school, which may not be the case at other schools. It should not be taken out of the article because you arbitrarily and incorrectly deem it to be a song.
3. You deleted updated photos for no apparent reason. The ones you continue to report are old and the descriptions do not have depth or detail.
4. We are trying to add relevant information to this page, for the public to gain as much knowledge on the topic as possible. As members of this college we do not need the added nuisance of an external person (who has most likely never visited Trinity) making wrongful edits to our page. Feel free to help, it's public information, but don't change things that you have little knowledge of.
5. The Patch publications are published by Yahoo. There is a quotation from an author who obviously visited the New Canaan library and shared her thoughts, and that's why we put it there. I have changed it to another publication, but just please leave the reference alone.
Final note: we are trying to make this page more accurate and trying to update it more regularly. Having you delete our revisions does not help the purpose of having a Wikipedia page, especially when we have obvious knowledge of this college. If you feel that something is inaccurate, come to Trinity and look it up in the library if you care that much about fact-checking.

- 2)I'll table this for later in the week when I can write a longer reply.
- 3)I mass rollbacked your changes. This time, I removed each change one-at-a-time to leave this content. In future, you might want to consider making non-controvertial changes on their own.
- 4)YAWN. Again: no one "owns" any Wikipedia article. If you want, feel free to complain to *any* WP Administrator about my edits. When they stop will laughing at you, they will probably point you towards reading wp:conflict of interest.
- 5) Um, and? *ALL* Patch.com articles fail wp:verifiability per its terms of service "Patch makes no guaranty that such information is accurate and your use of the information we provide is at your own risk" and are not therefore uncitable. But don't feel bad about it... since this is the only article you edit I understand that you wouldn't be aware that there is a consensus about this as a source and that it is removhed from ALL articles. And has been removed from this one. Again.

With regard to the alma mater, look at the Wikipedia pages of Bowdoin, Colby or any other NESCAC. They have the alma mater on there, because at NESCAC schools, it is an important part of the school's history. There are other Trinity songs that would violate the article you cited, such as the "go bantams go" fight song. But the alma mater has poetic and historical depth to it. That's what I said in the beginning, it's in the library archives as an important part of the school's history.
And yes, I only edit one Wikipedia article, because I have other things to do during my day.
