Hi. I had to remove your work from the article Bellerose Belgium because it was intertwined with some unacceptable marketing palaver from another editor (an anonymous IP, who may have been you). I'll just repeat what I said to her:

I cleaned up this article, and we want be careful about where we go here. A few things:

  • If you are (as I suspect) associated in some way with Bellerose, this is allowed. But please get an account and declare your association. See WP:COI.
  • Generally, all statements in the Wikipedia are supposed to be reference by citing some source. So don't introduce material unless you have a reference. Look at the article for an idea of how it's done.
  • Don't introduce vague or flowery marketing language such as "The conception of their collections, stores and even the apartments and houses of their designers originates from a large mix of eclectic influences. A vintage rosewood cupboard can be placed upon a rough concrete floor with no second thought" and forth. We are mainly interested in factual statements about the entity, particularly the business aspects. We do not host marketing language. Whether a vintage rosewood cupboard can, as a point of fact, be placed upon a rough concrete floor with no actual second thought is very difficult to prove. Rather tell us your sales figures, units shipped, and so forth (with references of course). This doesn't mean we can't say anything about design and marketing aspects, and I have included "the American referents to their approach to style" as being essentially incontrovertible and germane. But we want to keep it toned down, here.
  • Furthermore, we can't use material that is written somewhere else, because its copyrighted. If, as I suspect, ""The conception of their collections..." and so forth is copied from a marketing brochure, we can't use it. Counterintuitively, even if you represent (or even own) Bellerose and you own the copyright, we still can't use it; we don't make exceptions. See WP:COPYVIO.

Also I noted that you removed the references from the article, and we want our articles to have references. Cheers and happy Wiki'ing, Herostratus (talk) 14:26, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

Do you really want to release your company logo effectively into the public domain? You might want to think twice about that, and I am not satisfied that you own the copyright to it. I've nominated the image for deletion here, and the others you uploaded also on the grounds that I'm not confident you own any of them. Maybe you do, but I'd like to see some evidence. See under OTRS over at Wikimedia Commons on how to get a ticket to prove your identity and ownership of images, thanks. Herostratus (talk) 02:00, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

page Bellerose

[edit]

Hi, I'm working for Bellerose Belgium and I would like to edit the page. How can link my account to this association in the settings?

Thanks

Hi, Amina. As you are a paid employee of Bellerose, you should declare this association by putting a statement on your user page, User:Aminabell. However, this gives you no ownership rights to the Bellerose Belgium article. As a person with a conflict of interest, you should avoid making any edits to that article, except for simple corrections of errors. Instead, if you want changes made to the article, you should describe them on the article's talk page, so that other, impartial, editors can decide whether to implement them.
