Positive Politeness[edit]
Given that we just read about hijras (Hall 1996), do you think hijras' uses of polite forms in their speeches when they speak with potential male partners can be an example of positive politeness?
Moreover, are benevolent or/and hostile sexism (we read about them in Making Nice P.122 from Eckert's Language and Gender) something that can be added to the article? Chanalexccha (talk) 20:43, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
