Ottoman capitals[edit]

You're very welcome. That's why the reference desk is there. And thank you - just about every question, including the one you asked, teaches me somethng new. Cheers! ---Sluzzelin 05:12, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User Page[edit]

I'm glad that you liked my User Page. It makes me know that someone had actually looked at it and read it so my time wasn't wasted. Of course, you can use my user page. I got many hints about my page from another friend of mine. So yeah this is wikipedia and it's an open source and my works have no copyright on them so feel free to use them. About Age Empires, a game that I follow for more than 8 years (probably the first game I played on PC), from I to III and waiting for IV, I didn't liked the third one really. Maybe the reason was Persia Wasn't included? lol. Anyway, I'll be glad if you have tried any other good games and give the name to me. Good luck --Arad 23:16, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Supermarine Spitfire FPC vote[edit]

Hi AndonicO,
I was wondering if you had a preference for an edit version on Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Supermarine Spitfire XVI? If you do not specify an edit, your vote will count as a support for the original version. Thanks! --Fir0002 23:48, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Andonic. Umm, you're free to keep that vote for that edit, but just in order to gain consensus and close this nomination - would you be happy to support no. 4 (essentially the same edit). Currently the nomination is a deadlock between edit 2 and edit 4, so it would be nice to tip the scale one way so that we can close it. Anyway I don't want to influence your vote, just letting you know. Thanks! --Fir0002 10:45, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FPC Promotion[edit]

Your Featured picture candidate has been promoted
Your nomination for featured picture status, Image:Washington Monument Dusk Jan 2006.jpg, gained a consensus of support, and has been promoted. If you would like to nominate another image, please do so at Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates. Fir0002 00:36, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations! --Fir0002 00:36, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is to let you know the Featured Picture you uploaded and/or nominated Image:Washington Monument Dusk Jan 2006.jpg is scheduled to be Picture of the day on December 24, 2006, when it will be featured on the Main Page. Congratulations! howcheng {chat} 17:15, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think something messed up with your visit to Malta! --Dweller 14:38, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

'What do you mean by "I think something messed up with your visit to Malta!"? And by the way, I've not been to Malta, it says there I want to go to Malta. And the page looks fine to me. | AndonicO 15:07, 17 October 2006 (UTC)'[reply]

If you visit the Malta article, you'll find that you've misrepresented Malta's name and its flag. --Dweller 15:25, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ah. Got it. You want to visit both Malta and the Sovereign Order... which isn't a place, as I understand it. Kind of confusing. --Dweller 15:27, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User RyGuy's Comment[edit]

Hi AndonicO! My name is RyGuy. I am a newly registered member. (But i've been using Wikipedia as a guest for several years) I notice that you said "unlike most users, i am new and still learning", and i can really relate to that. I don't even know how to make one of those boxes (the one you put you name and places in). I would love to be able to be able to do that though. Maybe you could pay a visit to my talk page. It's User Talk: RyGuy

Hi[edit]

Hey rather than go to the help desk (which I never check) just ask me the qustion on my talk page so whenever you need help right when I see that I have a new message I will help you. If I am currently not in, please ask a good friend of mine who is also very helpful his name is Gray Porpoise. And if he is not in then just find someone who seems friendly and ask.--Seadog.M.S 15:12, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OH, I didn't read your message carfully thanks for your help--Seadog.M.S 16:08, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again you rock, hey I noticed you edit the Motto of the Day, I do too. The hinduism artilce is now running for Featured status. I and others have worked very, very hard on it and it would be an honor if was featured. Please feel free to post your oppinions as the others have, please put Support or Oppose and if possible list why. Here it is Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Hinduism. It is so cool that a young Wikipedian helped me an experienced one out, this is what makes wikipedia a great place to work.--Seadog.M.S 17:24, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This will probably sound weird but only a couple of months, I cought on quite quickly beacuse before I was an editor I was interested in how Wikipedia worked. I read the talk pages of articles and read about NPOV standards and how all the stuff works way before I ever logged in. I have earned 0 awards during Littlewing1. But I have earned 4 so far as Seadog.M.S in just a little over a week. You however deserve the Newcomer award, if you keep it up I will give you one. And any way my philosophy is that it doesn't matter how many edits or how long you have been a member to be considered great.--Seadog.M.S 17:52, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I responded on your talk page. Young Wikipedian? I've been around longer than the date on your user page. ;-) | AndonicO 17:50, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WoW your older than me (weird how things work out here eh.). But a word of advise I enjoy making userboxes but you have to be carful, copyrighted images are not alowed in userboxes, which I noticed that some of your userboxes you made (which are very good) have Copyrighted images in them. It would be wise to remove the Image and find a Non-Copyrighted one. P.S I hate Copyright--Seadog.M.S 17:56, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Award[edit]

The Original Barnstar
Okay since you don't consider yourself a newcome here is the Original Barnstar. I award this to you for your great edits and helping out others (including myself).--Seadog.M.S 18:12, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I feel stupid for calling you a newcomer (>_>)--Seadog.M.S 18:12, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay in response to your comment the Calvin and Hobes image is copy righted, the one with that one guy(the movie poster) one that is copyrighted. Just click any image scroll down and it will show if it is Copyrighted or if it Isn'nt.--Seadog.M.S 18:16, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That is okay, I like it when others use others ideas. It looks cool on your page anyway. I kind of copied of your big box, the one that has that long word, only my box is blue. You know what is funny you found out about the Wikipedia Motto of the day from me and I found from the Gray Porpoise, I wonder who he found it from? Oh yeah I feel stupid for calling you a newcomer.--Seadog.M.S 12:34, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yay I'm forgiven--Seadog.M.S 12:49, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Motto Nomination[edit]

Hey AndonicO! I just noticed your nomination for the wikipedia motto of the day.....and I like it! Check under yours... and there's mine! Hmm.... that just HAD to happen, right? RyGuy 16:22, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thnaks for supporting the HInduism article--Seadog.M.S 12:59, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dear fellow Editor[edit]

I Seadog.M.S am inviting you to edit my quote page. I do understand that you are very busy in the Wiki but I would greatly appreciate you editing the quote page. If you decide to edit the page please follow the rules you see inside.
Sinceraly yours,

Seadog.M.S 21:11, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again WikiFriend[edit]

Hello, thank you very much for adding a quote to my quote page. (which ended up being quite a success). I love Homer and the quote was simply excelent. I do however have a requst. Can you please give User:The Gnome King9 a barnstar, it doesn't have to be flashy or anything. The reason I am asking you this is because this is a friend of mine in Real life and is somewhat thinking about quiting the Wiki due to the fact that he feels unappreciated on WIkipedia. I could have asked anyone to do this but I asked you due to you civility and over-all generosity. I would have done it myself but he wouldn't care if I did it. If you would do this for me I would be very, very thankful. P.S, like your quotes and thanks for supporting mine--Seadog.M.S 18:28, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can't go wrong with homer, and I Really appriciate you doing me that favour.--Seadog.M.S 22:51, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I understand that, I only change it when I'm on for a certain amount of time. The only reason why I didn't change it is because I just wanted to check if you got my message.--Seadog.M.S 22:58, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Upper Thracian Lowlands[edit]

Hi. You voted against the featuring of the UTL picture on the (totally valid, sorry about that) grounds that it was too small. The author has uploaded a new version, and there's a lively vote going on about which edit to use. You might like to take another look. --Kizor 21:30, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: WP:Holic[edit]

I don't know what happening with the automated version of Wikipedia:Are You a Wikipediholic Test. I might be an Admin, but I know very little about the programming side of Wikipedia. I did have a look, & the link points to an empty file; after further research, it appears that this link points to the right spot, so this malfunction isn't the result of recent vandalism. I left a note on the author's Talk page, but it looks as if he hasn't been very active on Wikipedia lately (3 edits in the last 5 months). But let's wait 24 to 48 hours, & if nothing changes, we might need to post for help in a few more places in order to find someone who can fix it. -- llywrch 22:13, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Tres Leches.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Tres Leches.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:09, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Practical Joke[edit]

Thanks so much for liking it! Funny, another user commented on it, saying it was annoying. The code for it is

  <div class="usermessage">You have [[Special:Mytalk|new messages]] ([[practical joke|last change]]).</div>

I actually took it from another userspage myself. Be sure to put it at the top of your userpage. Or if you just want to be mean, instead of linking it to Practical joke, link it to something inappropriate :) Reywas92Talk 22:30, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great practical joke at the top of the page. I had to even see the edit page to find out what was going on.

Good Job[edit]

I think the Pi is right (like I would know) but your userpage is amazingly good. I love the black border around the page. Did you take that picture of the Footpath.--Seadog 21:07, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the award also, that was unexpected--Seadog 21:09, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

re: MedCab[edit]

Hello CheNuevara. I can see that you are busy, but I have a question, which I asked on the discussion page of the Mediation Cabal a couple of days ago. My question is, if I want to join the Cabal (if it exists that is) what do I have to do aside from adding the page to my watchlist. I read your arguments with Whiffle, and I'd like to help out; the problem is I don't know how. Here's a link to the discussion page of the Mediation Cabal in case you would rather answer there. | AndonicO Talk 19:18, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

That's it, really. It might be helpful to others if you put your name on the list of members and a note on your userpage (if you use userboxes, that will do nicely), but those are optional and not all cabalists advertise their membership. Really all it takes to be in MedCab is a commitment to being a mediator. Then you can start taking cases; some people take requests, some people look through the backlog for cases that interest them, and some will just take as they come.
I appreciate your offer of help with regards to User:Whiffle, but I fear you'd be wasting your time and energy. He seems to be beyond constructive interface by his own personal choice. I've decided he's simply too disruptive to be reasoned with, as have others; hopefully, if people ignore his antics, he'll get bored. However, if you'd like to join the mediation between the other parties on the article (found at Talk:Yoshiaki Omura/Mediation), be my guest -- the more the merrier! - Che Nuevara 20:19, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Che, for your message; it cleared a few things up. However, you said some people take cases and others take requests. What is the differance? I'll add my name to the list, but I think I'll just be reading for a while, in order to learn. I'd appreciate any occaisional help, but this is fine for now. Thanks! | AndonicO Talk 21:25, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Oh, by the way, does "Active" mean I'm on the computer, or that I have a case? | AndonicO Talk 21:47, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Active as opposed to Inactive means that you will take cases. You don't necessarily have to have one at the moment, but if you're labeled inactive it means that, for whatever reason (usually busy, or has left the cabal) you're not available for mediation work.
What I meant by "some will take cases" was some people will just pick one, at random (usually the oldest) off the backlog list, unless there's one on the backlog that is of particular interest to them. (Although some mediators avoid cases they know things about in order to stay the temptation to be biased.) Every once in a while someone will approach you directly and ask you to mediate -- sometimes another cabalist who doesn't have the time to finish the case, and sometimes just a user who sees that you're a cabalist / has seen you mediate before.
I'd be more than happy to help with anything you'd like to know. Don't be afraid to drop me a line. If you'd like, I'll even help out when you take your first case, if you think you need it.
Peace! - Che Nuevara 23:53, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for all the (much needed) help. I'll join as inactive. | AndonicO Talk 23:58, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
You're welcome :) Like I said, let me know if you need anything. - Che Nuevara 02:44, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Userpage!!!!![edit]

WoW, your userpage looks great Awsome. I am being honest it is really cool. I love the color you have chosen. I am also glad you like the book Aesops Fables. Most people think it is a kiddie book but in my opinion it is a philosopical book. Socretes quotes the book in Phaedo.--Seadog 21:20, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added my sig to your autograph box and a quote (I hope you don't mind the Hinduism thing) and I find it interesting how many launguages you can speak in. Oh yeah I don't mind that you took my ideas this is why Wikipedia is so cool. I've also noticed that you have moved most of your userboxes away from your main page. I did to, when you are a newcomer you think that userboxes are the coolest things in the world and then once you become older on wikipedia you find that they are somewhat annoying and all. If you can tell I got rid of all mine!--Seadog 21:54, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey I found out something usefull, if you want others to be able to know if you are online or not please feel free to copy my idea here. I like it because it lets others know you are online in case of an urgent question.--Seadog 21:56, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Vandalism?[edit]

Well, technically, anything put in that box is vandalism, as it is intended specifically for vandals, thusly, if a vandal was a vandal, there would be no vandals and vandals would vandalize! This should make complete sense. --The Great Llama talk 23:22, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ath[edit]

Sorry about that what I ment it to be was Path, I have already fixed and put in my sig. On an unrealted note you may want to start using edit summerys more often no matter what you edit. This is somewhat important if you want to be an administrator.--Seadog 23:54, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is okay I was told the same thing at the editorial review. Once you start doing it on every edit it becomes a habit.--Seadog 23:59, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The editorial review is a place where editors admin or not can ask for a review of their work on wikipedia, such as what they are doing good, what they should start doing, what they should stop doing and etc. It is commen for someone about to run for administratorship to request an editor review. If you want to have a review do it here WP:ER and make sure you follow the directions on the page. Hope this helps.--Seadog 00:25, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah if you are a kid than you probably shouldn't look at the vandalism that has happended on my main page.--Seadog 00:50, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for reverting vandalism on my userpage, if you want to know the truth my User page has been vandalised over 10 times and most of them are sockpuppets.--Seadog 00:58, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well the reason mine has been vandalised more is because I am a vandal fighter. When ever you revert vandalism and then warn the vandal and whatnot sometimes there natural choice is to vandalise the user who warned them. If you are interested in fighting vandalism and jacking up your mainspace edits why don't you click the recent changes button and start reverting. My personal tactic is to 1.Hide the logged in users, because most vandalism is IP addresses. 2. Look at the articles that have recently been changed by and IP, If you see a popular article such as George Bush. Religion articles Sports and other important articles they have most likely been vandalised. 3. If you see that the IP has a talk page, that could mean that they have previously been warned and are a persistant vandal. If you add all these up in my opinion the chance of the vandalism to the article is around 80%. Hope this helps if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.--Seadog 01:09, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Arjun.[edit]

Hello friend, I am not new I am the same old Seadog.M.S. The only difference is my username is in the process of being changed soon. Thanks.(Click the Link to my userpage it is the same thing!) Oh yeah thanks for supporting my Motto's---Arjun 20:01, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I understand that you want to sound unbiased. Bias is terrible on wikipedia. Also you can call me Seadog or Arjun. It doesn't matter. I am trying to change it because this is what most of the Wikiproject Hinduism editors are calling me latly. Are you in any Wikiprojects?--Arjun 22:29, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox[edit]

What do you think of this userbox

YOUThis user is interested in you!

Kind of funny isn't it.--Arjun 02:30, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that I took out the exclamation marks!!! out of the you. What it should do is take it to whoever clicks it's userpage.--Arjun
Hey take a look at my userpage. It has seen a lot of changes. I changed it because the other one was annoying and now it is simple.--Arjun 14:14, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I somewhat changed it back but I have a new one in the about me section. I have been changeing because I can not decide which one I like better. I am done messing around with it (for now!). Have a nice day/night.--Arjun 00:52, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean both at the same time. Sorry for sounding dumb.--Arjun 00:55, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Arnold Schwartzenegger[edit]

Re: Vandalism: Are you serious? I reverted a nonsensical change about Schwartzenegger being born in Haiti and suffering sexual abuse by his mother to an earlier version about his actual birth and familial relationship. I *undid* vandalism. If you look at the "differences" between yours and mine (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Arnold_Schwarzenegger&diff=85955142&oldid=85915232), you'll see there's no difference at all. I think you made a mistake and meant to discuss this with someone else.

Hello[edit]

I fixed it, you forgot to add it to the list and you put your comment on the bottom instead of the top, so go ahead and switch that, and you need to answer the questions. Yes I have been extremely busy in real life and I will have a hard time answering questions quickly. --Arjun 17:21, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good job look's good, I once again have changed my sig to Seadog due to the fact that I did not earn the name probably since I have to many edits to simply change. -_Seadog 19:00, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the kind words about the userpages, and yes I am done editing them. If you open up Microsoft word and you look at the font selections you will find many interesting ones. What you do is just copy my sig and put in your info such as name and font-color and font. If you need any help please let me know. Also please feel free to leave your quote in greek since I already have one in Sanskrit! Cheers.-- Seadog 18:18, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good job, If you need any help let me know.-- Seadog 18:26, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No wonder the text I use is Old english text MT, not england. I almost chose papyrus but I noticed that Editor at large uses that font. But it is still cool.-- Seadog 18:41, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, the text color you have chosen for the superscript part is midnight blue. I like your new sig. But now I am off to edit random articles-- Seadog 19:11, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well anyone could do it. I've already had to emergency schedule most of the mottos in the last week. Don't you think think it's interesting how today's motto is blank instead of having a red link? Coincedence? I think not! Tennis DyNamiTe (sign in) 03:13, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Heh. Thanks. It actually does appear to be very popular now. Not only Seadog (which I didn't know), but London UK I copied from. D•a•r•k•nes•s•L•o•r•di•a•n•••C••• 11:12, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, not at all. I'm in the East US time zone (whatever it is. :P), and I'm normally a guy who responds a second after he gets a message on any site. D•a•r•k•nes•s•L•o•r•di•a•n•••C••• 11:22, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AUGH! I keep looking at that message at the top of this page and I keep thinking I've got a message! D•a•r•k•nes•s•L•o•r•di•a•n•••C••• 11:23, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for the compliment AndonicO! I like it too and even USER:Riana dzasta likes it. I am taking a break from the Motto of the Day for a while because I am getting ready to prepare myself for Administrorship. I am going to run in Febuary, take care.--Seadog 18:46, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I will let you know! Let me know when you will run (you need to get your mainspace up though) I have almost 3000 edits so far.--Seadog 18:52, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That is the great thing about reverting vandalism, and it only takes a second. But you need to remember to warn the vandal who did it. Such as for their first warning you would paste {{subst:test1}}, and for their second warning replace the 1 with a 2 and etc. Keep it up.--Seadog 19:05, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Good job, I particuarly dislike the test1 template also. I use it sometimes but usually I post a test2. Once again good job.--Seadog 19:22, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

Can you comment on Psychohistorian's behaviour here Talk:White_people#General_Comments? Some diffs: [2][3] [4] Thulean 17:54, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No comments yet? I was told that we should discuss these personal attacks at meditation by Shell Kinney. Check this out: [5] Thulean 00:45, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually it's Psychohistorian and LSLM here. Please read the links when you have time....Thulean 01:32, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I dont know. I'm getting sick of all these continous personal attacks so someone should do something. And if they repeat, please take action. For ex, LSLM has been warned 2 times by an admin already...Thulean 01:39, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You doubt what? Thulean 11:19, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I thought you had meant that you doubt if they are personal attacks or not. Anyway, I'm not mad at them, I just dont like them but I dont want to ignore their continuous personal attacks. I'll relay what you said to the admin. That you cant intervene unless it's in meditation page. I'm pressing this further because Sugaar recently said:

"You want to play with geneaologies... like the Jewish skinhead of the BBC article, you may get burnt."

So I want to see some consequence of their actions. And I dont want that consequence being me ignoring the article because I played by the rules. Thulean 11:36, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Esperanza![edit]

Welcome, AndonicO, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact our administrator general Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

Hi AndonicO - nice pic, but some more information about it would be helpful! Where was the photo taken, and what species is it? (my guess is Phoenix dactylifera, but that's not 100% certain). Thanks, MPF 11:09, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Userpage[edit]

Thanks! I like yours too, it's very classy (I like classy :-). And re: favourite books, I love your last three choices! — Editor at Large(speak) 17:46, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. I curse your practical joke >:-{ but admit, it got me! — Editor at Large(speak) 17:47, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, I was just joking. I get lots of messages, so the orange bar of doom drives me crazy some days. But yours was good, it fooled me (even with popups)! And your userpage looks classy on the library computer, I might have something different to say when I get home :-) — Editor at Large(speak) 18:36, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
What does the library computer think of my page? It looks terribly at my library... (BTW, that bar very nearly got me, again!) I'm at home, and it doesn't look much less classy. I like simplicity, myself, so maybe that's why. But it's nice, it matches your sig ;-)
As for giving me the "orange bar of doom", no worries. I love getting it, especially when I log in: as long as it's the real one. :-PEditor at Large(speak) 11:52, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ha ha, yes. *adds funny edit summary* ... As for the "matches your userpage", I just feel like your classy black sig and beige "talk|sign here" match your classy black and beige user page. I don't know, maybe it's just me? — Editor at Large(speak) 12:54, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see! That makes sense. Yes; for me, it is purply/grayish/beige. </gobbledegook> *funny summary* — Editor at Large(speak) 16:39, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Brickfilm[edit]

Hi, thanks for your high praise about our Brick Film, it was a collaboration between myself and Culverin. What it lacks in storyline it makes up for in abstract junk, like the Hard drive at the end. I filmed, Culverin did the putting-together and publishing and we both wrote the script. Anyway, here are the translations:

  • Вся ваша основа - принадлежат нам

  • Это эйнт никакая луна (That ain't no moon)

  • Хороший день к Вам сэр! (Good day to you sir)

  • Быть тихим NaRпve!" "Держат ваш Разветвленный язык позади ваших зубов! (Be Silent Naive, keep your forked tounge behind your teeth)

  • Специальные Тайны в моем тылу?" (Special Secrets in my rear)

  • Захватите их!" “YФo5u&*енse 45 3o!” “Oотравляются большой дозой наркотика ^dam я %%% t!?” (Seize them! ????)

Фаэтон! (Chaise!)

“нщг фиыщгде ифырвфкы! Афл фдд щм фняя!” (???)

“Ш вщт цфтт ф ощзщшт ьщт гтшшщг Ш цшдд ша пре ершы фддд керу цфн!!Ф” (??!!)

Well, I think thats it anyway. Probably not, but Google translate should know. Cheers, Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 23:40, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you are still confused even with the translations, then thee is nothing wrong, we deliberately made it so that even if you speak fluent Russian, it will still confuse the Hell out of you. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 21:51, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Flim[edit]

Thanks for your message. I made the film with Dfrg.msc. It was our very first film. It was for an assignment. Thanks for your appreciation. Culverin? Talk 23:50, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It was a great film. My favorite bit is the end where the play doe attacks the police man. Gold! Culverin? Talk 00:04, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that's great. I don't have the movie on my page because I'm on dial-up. It slows things down quite a lot, but the movie is still visible on my gallery page. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 21:53, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You really get it? We made it just so it would scare and confuse the stuffing out of anyone unfortunate enough to see it. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 22:05, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Whoa!
Not at all! Put it on your user page if you want, seriously, go nuts with it. I'm seriously considering nominating this: Image:BananaShoeShine.gif for Featured Picture. It's me. Shining my shoe. With a Banana Peel. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 22:30, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, your probably right. I was just on the page looking, a picture peer review sounds really good first. Lucky for me you have had experience in Featured picture department, it looks really hard to get one through. I can't believe the F-22 Raptor didn't get in! That's an Amazing shot. I have 85 or so images, in My gallery of which I think Image:NamadgiRock.jpg and Image:DFRLego 003.jpg are the best, perhaps this as well: Image:Henri Le Secq near a Gargoyle.jpg. But, I'm not sure. Take a look for your self. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 23:04, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that...[edit]

I am still learning, did not realize I was into an archive.Edditor 02:30, 18 November 2006 (UTC) Will study the manual all night.

A vote of thanks from Terence Ong[edit]

That birthday wishes made my day this weekend. I celebrated my birthday today instead of yesterday since I still had school, unfortunately. Thanks for the birthday wishes, and I greatly appreciate it. --Terence Ong (C | R) 14:51, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
