The page Rotax Aircraft Engines has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which is unlikely to be suitable for an article (or at best would need a fundamental rewrite). Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Welcome to Wikipedia. Given that all your edits have been on the subject of Rotax engines and promotional in nature and given your user name, I would suggest you have a read of WP:COI. - Ahunt (talk) 16:37, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Rotax Max Challenge has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/maxchallenge?v=wall/.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 09:26, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just to let you know the images that you added to Rotax 447, Rotax 503, Rotax 914 and Rotax 582 have all been identified as copyright violations from the official Rotax website. The details are on each Commons file. Judging by your user name and your contributions, including link spamming and adding unsourced marketing information like this to articles it seems pretty clear that you are connected to the company, which means you are in a Conflict Of Interest and should not be editing articles on the company and its products. I would suggest you carefully read the COI policy. Every year here on Wikipedia we get many companies' marketing people sent to improve the company's image on Wikipedia, but because of their flagrant disregard for how we do things here and the conflict of interest rules they end up seriously embarrassing themselves and their company and sometimes even hurting their company's interests. The best way to contribute is to 1. declare your connection to the company on your user page, like this user did and then post requests for changes on the talk pages for the article in question. A number of us who watch the Rotax engine pages will be happy to work with you and assess your requests to see if they can be incorporated into the articles. - Ahunt (talk) 13:15, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:AndreasBRP2011/Rotax Aircraft Engines, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
