Hello. Please remember to always provide an edit summary. Thanks and happy edits. Alphax τεχ 15:37, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hi, just to let you know that the list of UK participants at the UK notice board was getting rather long, so I have replaced it with the above category which I have added to your user page. -- Francs2000 | Talk 30 June 2005 18:38 (UTC)

Reverts

Don't worry about reverts of simple vandalism, the 3rr doesn't apply to them. Remember to label reverts of simple vandalism, and report it on the vandalism in progress page. Stirling Newberry

The toned-down xtianity claim seems much better to me, thanks. Sorry about carelessly deleting the "works about" stuff in my edit... my bad. All the best. Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 21:27, 2005 July 28 (UTC)

Spoo

Cool addition to Spoo - thanks! (And, by the way, if you didn't know, I've currently got it on Peer Review.) As for the book, The Real Frank Zappa Book, do you know what the ISBN and the publisher are? This is to keep my rather (copious) references up to date. Thanks for your time! --Jeffrey O. Please review the template:philosophy (navigation) and reconsider your vote

Since you voted (you said it was too large), the template has been streamlined to nearly half its former size.

Please consider revising your vote concerning template:Philosophy topics.

With reference to your reverts of my edits, can you please prove that Miguel Pro was found guilty of having participated in the attempt to assassinate Alvaro Obregon? Is this your understanding of NPOV?

Again, have you considered the relative question of the legitmacy or lack of it of the persons who murdered Pro? Were they a lawful, elected, constitutionally formed government? Was the killing a result of due process under the law? Or was it merely that a gang of bandits seized power and later came to be recognized by default as the legitimate government, by success of possession?

Is there legitimate doubt that the revolutionaries were anticlerical and Freemasons, when this was precisely their agenda? How did a rabidly anti-Catholic faction come to rule a nation that is 95% Catholic? By free and fair elections?

I think that your reversions constitute vandalism, but I will await your reply.

Regards.

If you want to make changes to that article, cite sources for any changes and stick to NPOV. If you can't do that (and your user page suggests you can't), I will revert anything you add which is not sourced and neutral. As you can see from the page history, I removed a whole lot of left-wing POV material from that article a couple of months ago, because that wasn't appropriate either. If you can provide evidence from a reliable and neutral (i.e. non-Catholic) source that your claims are true, cite those sources when you edit the article. --ajn (talk) 16:17, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Which still leaves me with the question: Was he executed, as you allege, or was he murdered? Can you please answer that with proof, since it is you that has put this in, even if by reversion. Also, please specify exactly why Catholic sources are not reliable and neutral, which should be interesting to know. As for your wisecrack about my user page and NPOV, please be more specific. "Executed" is the word most people would use to describe a killing by the de facto government of a nation. Catholic sources are not a reliable or neutral source of information about Pro because he was a Catholic priest, and is now regarded as a martyr and has been beatified. I'd no more expect a Catholic source to be accurate about Pro (other than undisputed facts, for example his date of birth or which order he belonged to) than I'd expect a Marxist source to be accurate about Che Guevara. If you can't see why your user page might give me reason to doubt your ability to be objective about this sort of subject, that's an indication of the problem. --ajn (talk) 17:15, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Sysop

It's my pleasure to notify you that, consensus being reached, you're now a administrator. You may wish to read the reading list and how-to guide at your convenience. Most sysop actions are reversible, the exceptions being history merges and deleting pages (but it's a good idea to be careful with all of them). Again, congrats on becoming an admin. -- Pakaran 02:50, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
