A tag has been placed on Animaland, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. §hep¡Talk to me! 21:56, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please, do not remove tags that have been added to an article until the issues have been resolved. Read the CSD template (the big red one) before removing it as it says you as the creator of the page are not entitled to. I've left my concerns on the talk page as the neutrality template I added states to. You need to provide information on the talkpage as the hangon template you added instructs to. Your username is alos in violation of our policy. Below you wll find the standard message and tips on how to resolve the issue. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. §hep¡Talk to me! 22:18, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. §hep¡Talk to me! 22:18, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hope you don't mind, I prefer to keep discussions about Wikipedia on-wiki. You can either leave a note for me here or at User talk:Stepshep. §hep¡Talk to me! 22:45, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The article, before it was deleted did not mimick IBM in the slightest. It came across as someone who works in PR for Animaland created the article. It used peacock words a few times and would have needed a rewrite with references <ref>Like this</ref>. If you want you can create a subpage and sandbox the article out beofre moving it to main space. I would be happy to help you get an article that is up to WP:V and WP:RS. §hep¡Talk to me! 23:20, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Animaland. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 22:47, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Animaland. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Fieldday-sunday (talk) 22:57, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]
This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because it has been identified as an account used for promotion of a company or group, with a username that implies that this has been done by that company or group. See Wikipedia:Business' FAQ and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.

This kind of activity is considered spamming and is forbidden by Wikipedia policies. In addition, the use of a username like yours violates our username policy.

You may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below or emailing the administrator who blocked you.

Your reason should include your response to this issue and a new username you wish to adopt that does not violate our username policy (specifically, understand that accounts are for individuals, not companies or groups, and that your username should reflect this). Usernames that have already been taken are listed here.
