[edit]

Can you please add, if you dont mind, the recent stance taken by Desmond Tutu on euthanasia? [1] Thank you.81.193.222.43 (talk) 00:52, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Athalia molokomme, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Athaliah_Molokomme.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Athalia molokomme requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Athaliah_Molokomme. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Linking ducere.co across many articles

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.--McGeddon (talk) 08:37, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Dorcas Makgato-Malesu, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Conflict of interest with Ducere

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Anissa ducere. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.--McGeddon (talk) 08:32, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No, failing to provide sources is not the only thing you are doing wrong: you are also heavily promoting the Ducere Foundation by linking directly to ducere.co in every edit you make to Wikipedia. This appears to be citation spamming - if a person has joined a group's "Global Leaders Facility", whatever that means, that should be sourced to a secondary source that's considered this fact significant enough to write about, not to the group's own website.
And if you are employed by Ducere, you should not be writing about it directly in Wikipedia. --McGeddon (talk) 10:29, 26 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Articles written by Ducere's founder and "proudly sponsored by Ducere" are not reliable secondary sources. --McGeddon (talk) 07:05, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Paul Bassat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Conflict of interest?

[edit]

Please clarify whether or not you have any sort of conflict of interest regarding the Ducere Foundation. Per WP:COI, you should not be making edits relating to the organisation if you are employed by them or have any sort of personal connection. --McGeddon (talk) 07:03, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note that an apparent conflict of interest (registering as "Anissa Ducere", writing about Ducere in every edit, linking to Ducere's website directly until told to stop, never editing any articles which aren't related to Ducere - but actually just being a person with no connection to the group who just enjoys writing about it) can be as problematic as an actual conflict of interest. I'd recommend against making any further edits promoting the Ducere group. --McGeddon (talk) 08:25, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Ducere, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:32, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Ducere

[edit]

Hello Anissa F. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Ducere".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Ducere}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. —CraigyDavi (TC@) 20:07, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
