Ovartaci moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Ovartaci, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Annekas63. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Roee Rosen, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. PigeonChickenFish (talk) 05:20, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear PigeonChickenFish: while I contributed sporadically to Wikipedia without personal connections (and even created one page I am proud of, on a late Danish outside artist), in this case there is a strong connection, as I am Roee Rosen. However: I did not write the page, and have no knowledge who did so several years ago. My attempt has been to revise, correct and add only objective information, such as publications, exhibitions and quotes, and only when I think they are significant, such as an exhibition in a major museum or the publication of a new book. Furthermore, to avoid any conflict of interest -- and I read the pertinent page -- I abstain from adding any information of upcoming exhibitions which might be construed as promotion, and all details related to the commercial galleries I work with etc (all the exhibitions I added were held in non-profit spaces such as museums). We have this exchange, for example, after I added an exhibition in Kunstmuseum Luzern, a major Swiss Museum that closed more than six months ago. Do let me know if this answers your concerns, all best, Roee Rosen Annekas63 (talk) 11:33, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Annekas63: thank you for being honest. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the policy on what your next steps are in terms of disclosure, and in the future please do not edit your own WP article here, but rather use the talk page. All the instructions are in my earlier post. If you have additional questions, the tea house is a great resource (please see WP:TEA). PigeonChickenFish (talk) 23:21, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Will do. Thanks. Annekas63 (talk) 08:28, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dear PigeonChickenFish, I am writing just to note that I added a citation where it was indicated 'citation needed' on the Roee Rosen page. I read the page regarding this issue, and it indicated that if there is one it should be inserted. However, just I am mentioning it here in light of our former exchange.
