{{helpme}}

This is my summary--in my own words (except where I quote her directly, in which cases I give proper attribution)--of Aung San Suu Kyi's Freedom From Fear and Other Writings.

I have been working on this summary for months and had planned to give it to Wikipedia after learning how to use it (I am a total newbie, don't know where to post comments, etc.).

Current events--rumors even that she has now been imprisoned--led me to upload this file before learning how to use Wikipedia: I want some competent editors to take my raw summary and make it available to your readers (The page http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Freedom_from_Fear says that Freedom from Fear is an essay and book stub).

Template:Helpme[edit]

Please do not add Template:Helpme!!! to other people's talk pages. It is designed to be used by YOU when you need help.

And also, please do not add the Template:Helpme!!! to any other pages because it is considered as vandalism. But, since I offered you help on the this page, I had to move it below. So:

Before I get started, please do not add the {{helpme}}!!!! template to other pages. It is designed to be used by you when you need help, not as a toy and/or an act of vandalism. Please remove the template as soon as you can from that Image page.
Now, your question. Now, you cannot upload .pdf files because it is unsupported to Wikipedia. You may want to consider starting a web page and putting that PDF on there. If you must, please describe it on the box, not on the PDF as people will not be able to read it. If you need any more help, or the page is not helpful, I'll send someone here to help you. Annrk3,

Thank you for writing the pdf summary of the text. I will review it and see what information I can post from it to the article. I'm glad that I have a chance to download the pdf before it will most likely be removed from the wikimedia commons. Thank you for your contribution. - cgilbert(talk|contribs) 05:29, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Cgilbert76: I evidently posted my summary in the wrong format in the wrong place. If the PDF format is cumbersome, please tell me where to post my summary in HTML or TXT format. I knew I ran the chance of looking like an idiot--posting anything before I knew how the system worked--but the rumor of Aung San Suu Kyi being further harmed by the narco-generals made said risk seem trivial. I'm glad you found the file--let me know if there's anything more I can do to help make what she said about democracy and human rights more accessible to more readers everywhere. --Annrk3
