Hey, thanks for catching that misspelling. It's only a little thing, but it is noticed and appreciated. Happy Wiki'ing! Herostratus (talk) 00:36, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

October 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Religious debates over the Harry Potter series are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Outsourcing[edit]

Please do not add your own commentary to articles without reliable third party sources. This is a general article on the topic of outsourcing, and not a place for personal musings or original research on one specific building. Thanks. Kuru (talk) 00:00, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: The Game (mind game)[edit]

Hello Anon5791. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of The Game (mind game), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The reason given is not a valid speedy deletion criterion. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:15, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing the article, it doesn't appear to qualify for speedy deletion. Try WP:PROD or WP:Articles for deletion instead. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 04:17, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Note that this article has been through AFD multiple times (and most recently led to a strong consensus "keep"), so even if it might have serious problems that could lead to deletion, it's definitely not obvious and non-controversial to do so. That means non-discussion routes are not viable by policy or philosophy--only AFD can overturn an existing AFD consensus, not something less consensus-based. Make sure you read the previous discussions if you plan to pursue AFD so that you make sure you bring up new issues not previously considered (otherwise the new discussion is likely to be a rehash of old and not change result?). Notice

The file File:HildebrandosBathrooms.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unencyclopedic image with no foreseeable use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
