Getting Started[edit]

I know we talked about this in class the other day, but I think it would be beneficial if you moved the material you have written down in your sandbox to the actual Field Research page. What you have down is good, and if someone takes it down you can always check their suggestions and add it back to the page. As we talked about in class, you can go to the talk page of the Field Research or Participant Observation pages and give an explanation of why you added/deleted content to the pages. Under field notes, I believe we can eliminate the last type of notes: Meta/Analytic Notes. I have also added content to the "Choosing a Population" section and linked topics to other group members' wikipages. I know you said you were going to do this, so I'm not worried about it, but just a reminder to put in references. I added some of my references using the Cite tab on this site. (M.devia.psych. I saw your addition of the Ethical concerns in my sandbox. I couldn't help but notice that there is only one citation. I realize that you added the external links to the websites you mentioned, and that is great. However, in view of how things are going in other pages it would be wise to add more citations. As redundant as that may sound,if you obtained all of the information you added in that section from Spradley, I would go back and add these citations on the corresponding sentences. If you added information from a source other than Spradley, just type it in my sandbox talk page and I will gladly take care of it. Quick question: do you know the full citation for Lincoln and Guba?
