Zoe Gustaves[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Zoe Gustaves, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Zoe Gustaves. Speedy deletion of Zoe Gustaves[edit]

A tag has been placed on Zoe Gustaves requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Milk's Favorite Cookie 20:17, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Zoe Gustaves[edit]

Antares12, the article you created (Zoe Gustaves) was a direct copy of a different website. It doesn't really matter if you have "permission", even if you note it on the article. Wikipedia has strict guidelines about copyrights, which you can read all about at WP:COPYRIGHT. Furthermore, from the look of things, you're advertising the book that Gustaves is a character in. Since this seems a lot like WP:SPAM, you're likely to run in to opposition from a lot of editors. I recommend reading through those two guidelines, and taking a look around at other helpful information, like WP:HELP. If you still feel like contributing, see if WP:NOVEL can help you out.
