September 2018[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to New York (state) has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 05:28, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted your edit on New York (state). The sentence New York City and Long Island alone are home to approximately 11 million residents conjointly. refers to the population of all of NYC (including Manhattan and the Bronx), not just that of Long Island. Also, the 2010 US Census said that the population of Long Island was around 7.5 million. power~enwiki (π, ν) 05:34, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at New York (state), you may be blocked from editing. power~enwiki (π, ν) 05:40, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you blank out or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Port Jefferson, New York. Aspening (talk) 20:19, 24 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Anthony2271, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Blocked[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. You have also persistently treated Wikipedia as a battleground by deliberately misgendering and deadnaming people who are trans and demonstrated a lack of civility towards other editors as you did in this edit summary. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ST47 (talk) 20:59, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
