When not to use links

It is possible to create links to every word in an article. But providing too many defeats their purpose by obscuring the most relevant links. Here's an example of overlinking:

Wikipedia's greatness stems from being able to link articles together easily, but don't overdo it. It can get really annoying and does not help the reader.

The above passage hides the relevant link. Compare that with this:

Wikipedia's greatness stems from being able to link articles together easily, but don't overdo it. It can get really annoying and does not help the reader.

Why i can't write[edit]

User:Berean Hunter why do you stop me from editing? Antilope90 (talk) 17:11, 21 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

See below but based on this section's title, I would say that CIR would be another valid reason for blocking.

User:Berean Hunter and User:Ponyo having read the information you left titled December. I am sorry if i sound stupid and absurd but i really do think I have fallen into the wrong path of your block. I really do not see why I have been blocked. Please consider unblocking me Antilope90 (talk) 21:31, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you pinging me? There is no section titled "December" here, nor have I ever edited this page. You have been blocked by another checkuser for abuse of multiple accounts, though I have to agree that competence does indeed appear to be a factor.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:23, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can I atleast kindly be told why I have been prevented from editing and why I am not unblocked. It feels really unfair to not be properly be told what I wrong I have done to be blocked Antilope90 (talk) 12:51, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

December 2018[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
