Totally fair. It was one of my early articles, testing out Wikipedia. I now know there's the sandbox for that! Delete away! Anton1234 20:59, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's this one user, 70.50.143.215 , that keeps vandalising my page. How can I stop him? He keeps removing this one userbox, and added random text earlier. I'm proud of my userpage, ugly as it is, and I don't like vandalism on it!!! Anton1234 03:37, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can warn him with the correct templates on his user talk, and if he continues, list him at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 03:39, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Anton! I've reverted all the vandal's edits, and warned him severely. Feel free to tell me if he does it again. Cheers! Yuser31415 03:42, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What disambiguation?[edit]

When one searches for the 1994 World Cup, one reaches a disambiguation page, one entry for the FIFA competition, and another two for articles that don't even exist. I was wondering what to do about this, whether to redirect directly to the FIFA World Cup entry for it, or whatever else. Anton1234 22:30, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hm... I poked around a bit, thinking that maybe there would be some pattern (1992, 1993, 1994 World Cup, and so on), but the only other one I found quickly was 1999 World Cup, where the links are all blue. With that in mind, some editors would tell you that redlinks encourage growth, while other editors would suggest there's no pressing need to disambiguate between one page and its non-existing siblings; all things being equal, both points seem legitimate. You could redirect it, I'd personally probably lean that way. I haven't futzed around with these things too often, previously; if you're still not sure, you could always run it past the village pump for more input. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:48, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I've redirected the page to the 1994 FIFA World Cup. Hopefully that won't ruffle any feathers... --Anton1234 22:54, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
