A tag has been placed on Neha Gupta requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Empower Orphans requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A Stop at Willoughby (talk) 22:33, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Stationary donated.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. (ESkog)(Talk) 17:11, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your image uploads

[edit]

Many of your other image uploads have the same problem as those I have identified above, and they have been so tagged. Please go here to review and correct your other uploads. (ESkog)(Talk) 17:13, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Hangon" tags

[edit]

{{Hangon}} tags are not for articles that have been nominated for AfD discussions, as your articles have been. They are to be used on pages that have been nominated for Speedy Deletion, which your articles are not currently nominated for. WuhWuzDat 17:14, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:20, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image maintenance templates

[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from image description pages without also fixing the issue they discuss. To fix a {{no-license}} tag, you need to read Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and choose an appropriate licensing tag for each of your uploads. If you use our image uploading wizard, this process can be streamlined for your new uploads. (ESkog)(Talk) 17:28, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Anvcomp. I've changed my position on empower orphans and I've edited the article to bring it into line with Wikipedia's style guidelines. This included removing a large portion of text (particularly from the history section) that did not maintain a neutral point of view. It would be a great help to the project if you would expand on the history section to add to the article, but make sure that you follow Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The main ones to keep in mind are:

Thanks very much, Happy editing. Handschuh-talk to me 10:09, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Empower Orphans appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. WuhWuzDat 22:15, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. WuhWuzDat 08:14, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Empower Orphans. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. WuhWuzDat 08:14, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your addition to Empower Orphans has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. WuhWuzDat 08:15, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
