Hi OrangeMike,

Totally understand. Just hoping to retrieve this copy if it still exists. Will not be re-posting to Wikipedia and fully understand rules and guidelines. If possible I would like to respectfully just request the missing copy if thats possible at all. Thank you and just let me know what is possible. Have a great day! Hello, I understand why the page Renegade Craft Fair has been blocked. I would like to do everything in my power to get it back on Wikipedia. Is there a way that the blocked pages' content can be made available to me, either by email or otherwise? I realize that there is some promotional copy on the page which I am happy to remove, however there was also a good deal of historical and factual information on there that I don't have saved. It would save me an incredible amount of time and energy to not have to re-write and/or compile all of this copy, accreditation, links to articles etc again. Assuming I can resubmit a page with acceptable information, can I make a new Renegade Craft Fair listing? Thanks for your help with this. The page has been up for years with the copy it has now, or at least most of it being the same, so I didn't think anything of it. It makes sense not to allow this promotional platform. I will do my best to adhere to guidelines. Best, Mat Ar Sea Eff (talk) 18:25, 5 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi OrangeMike and hopefully you see this: I work at Renegade Craft Fair and it seems that our old page was blocked for promotional content. We totally understand this and in no way were trying to get around the rules or anything, we simply didn't understand.

We are wondering if at the very least we might be able to retrieve the previous copy that was posted on the page Renegade Craft Fair? It was the only copy of our complete history we had and we are just hoping to have that for our own website.

We now completely understand why the page did not meet Wikipedia standards and would like the chance to still be represented on Wikipedia in some form in the future.

Understandably, we have been blocked- but would it be possible to retrieve this old content, even just cut and pasted into an email?

Thank you so much for your time and understanding, please let me know what is possible. Ar Sea Eff (talk) 17:13, 9 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. Spelling RCF out phonetically does not make it acceptable. Human beings can have accounts here; companies cannot. --Orange Mike | Talk 19:19, 10 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
