Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Laci Green are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.

Your edits to Talk:Franchesca Ramsey are also a violation of the Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#FORUM policy. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 04:36, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that you're using Wikipedia talk pages to debate topics related to the article instead of suggesting improvements to the Wikipedia articles. If you want to debate stuff, Facebook or Twitter would be better. On Wikipedia, we mostly just argue about what sources are reliable enough to use in articles, obscure grammar rules, and when to use an en dash versus a hyphen. Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Franchesca Ramsey for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article; not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use talk pages for inappropriate discussion, as you did at Talk:Phil Mason, you may be blocked from editing. Dennis Bratland (talk) 23:32, 21 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As I have not responded to these complaints, let me do so now: I apologize, I did not quite get the program. I will not be intentionally disruptive again.Ariel31459 (talk) 18:01, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not use talk pages for general discussion of article topics. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. See here for more information. Thank you. --Equivamp - talk 22:14, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The comment looked to me like more general commentary on whether trans women are considered women rather than any attempts to improve the article. If your intent was to change something in the article, I'll self-revert and reply there. --Equivamp - talk 23:46, 26 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
