You uploaded Image:Bluntinarmy.jpg, but didn't provide any copyright information. Do you know where you got it? smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 23:52, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay-dokay, I've sent a permission email to the school. I should be able to update it if I get permission. Thanks! smurrayinchester(User), (Talk) 12:45, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Partahi_Lumbantoruan.jpg listed for deletion[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Partahi_Lumbantoruan.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. coelacan — 09:11, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated Partahi Mamora Halomoan Lumbantoruan, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Partahi Mamora Halomoan Lumbantoruan satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Partahi Mamora Halomoan Lumbantoruan and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Partahi Mamora Halomoan Lumbantoruan during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Evil Monkey - Hello 00:56, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Charlie Saputra Yang[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Charlie Saputra Yang, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No evidence that this person actually has ever played in any professional team or at the highest level of any country. Furthermore, if kept, all negative unsourced statements should be removed ASAP.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. The file File:Charlieyang.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned personal image, no foreseeable use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
