Redirects from articles to users.[edit]

In regards to Arthur John Haughey, the move was done correctly. The redirect should now be deleted - articles should not be redirected to users, ever. The CSD notice should stay there so that an administrator knows to do housekeeping. The content of the page has already been moved where it belongs, so nothing is lost by doing this. - Stephanie Daugherty (Triona) - Talk - Comment - 05:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry - it appears I am wrong. --ArmadilloFromHell 05:45, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

list of mil figures[edit]

I meant to... There should be a page up with that name, 'cause I did do 1. Did I leave off "nicknames"? Trekphiler 06:28, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

list of military figures [not by nickname...][edit]

Oops. I scrooed up.... And, truth to tell, I don't know how to fix it. Trekphiler 06:30, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List of military figures has a subtitle This is a list of military figures by nickname - I did a move on it to List of military figures by nickname' --ArmadilloFromHell 06:32, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User in question[edit]

It was "ILikeDemocracy." Guy's been doing a strange mix of good edits and nonsense. I gently warned him about an attack page he did and he kept insisting that this person was really bad. OK, fine, says I. Just don't go trumpeting it on an international stage. Ah, the fun of Wikipedia.  :) - Lucky 6.9 06:43, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I had just reverted Triona's edits and got corrected, and apologized back so I was confused as to who was saying what to whom. It's too late - time for bed. Sometime the whole vandalism thing is too much to deal with.. --ArmadilloFromHell 06:48, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Thanks so much for helping in restoring articles after a persistent vandal. And not the least, thanks for promptly removing vandalism from my user page. Happy editing! Bertilvidet 14:47, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You are very welcome. --ArmadilloFromHell 14:54, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thinks that Geniac is incorrect - in that it says the Brainiac has only three wheels??? Also, the company made an analogue computer with precision potentionemters, but I forget what it was called. --ArmadilloFromHell 14:09, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - please do feel free to add & correct the info - I actually know 0 about Brainiac, etc. I was just cleaning up some articles. Steve 15:03, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How was that Vandalism?[edit]

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what I did wrong. Eg in the case of CN Tower - if you looked at the link, it did contain information useful to the end user (pictures, reviews, a map, so forth). I don't see why it was wrong as it added value? (and sorry if I am posting in the right place, still figuring it out)

Heh - just saw the last entry on the talk page and assumed it was to me :) I'm just saying that - I'm no driveby (and so here I am), and all the links I did add had useful information (there were quite a few TO landmarks I left alone). Eg Toronto Zoo - you can compare the listing here and on the linked to page, and I thought the pictures+reviews would make it useful to an end user. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.224.163.124 (talkcontribs)

When I see a new user post a few externsl links, I assume it's bad judgement and send a minor warning and delete the link.
I randomly checked several of your edits, and they were not acceptable. It appears that the only intention of your edits (and there were lots of them) were to drive traffic to a web site. When I see a new account where the only edit activity is adding external links, I assume it is all commercial link spam. I cease to have good faith, and assume it is intentional and do not bother wasting any more time checking each link in detail. Read Wikipedia:Spam and expecially http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links#Links_normally_to_be_avoided --ArmadilloFromHell 05:51, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism??[edit]

Im confused at what you felt was not important to my edits on Beth Ostrosky? I put a comma in where it was gramatically correct, I removed the brackets around a an already linked link, I bracketed the year 2000, and put brackets in for the North Shore animal league, which is the largest Animal Shelter in the USA, and is a nation wide organization. Now someone can start an article about it. Im going to go ahead and make the appropriate fixes. Aspensti 17:03, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OOPs, I blew it sorry, I should have looked in more detail. I just saw the removal of Howard Stern and the addition of a year link, at the time it looked like vandalism. --ArmadilloFromHell 17:15, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Running over you on Tambi[edit]

Sorry about running over you a couple of times on that article. What a mess. Looks like you've got a lock on watching that, so I'll back off. Have fun! =) -- Gogo Dodo 04:54, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Too bad the lock did not include a db speedy. I think there were four accounts working together in a planned attack. --ArmadilloFromHell 05:03, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It did get protected at a weird spot. Ask the protecting admin to review the page and delete it. When I first saw that article, I browsed through the history and didn't find a single case where that article was worthwhile. -- Gogo Dodo 05:13, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I just posted on the talk page, I'll add some. The IP accounts involved are now blocked. Since it may get deleted, I've archived for now at User:ArmadilloFromHell/Tambi --ArmadilloFromHell 05:25, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ArmadilloFromHell, I am sorry, I know u guys are only here to help, I will take your advice...I really am just new here...I was just trying to feel out the system, I am sorry, honest to god did not do anything on purpose...Will be more carefull..Thank You Mrshappy..

Thank You for the info[edit]

Thanx I will read over on how to Archive & do so..

Question??[edit]

I have just uploaded a picture w/permission from the subject, but it says that the pic can be deleted, can I reload the picture & change it to a free license??? It seems that I can, anyway thank u mrshappy.

It would be good if you signed your message according to Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages. As far as pics, I'm not the best person to help you, I really do nothing with them, and do not have a good answer. But you have to be carefull, assigning the wrong license type to a picture that is not yours can get you permanently blocked. --ArmadilloFromHell 02:07, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: I reverted back to the last version by AntiVandalBot. I'm not sure why your revert didn't work, though I have seen times where the history of the article trails the article itself (e.g., I revert something, see it in the article, but the History says I haven't). That doesn't appear to have happened here. Anyways, all the vandalism is gone now. -- Gogo Dodo 02:28, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I get the problem periodically, sometimes if I switch to IE to make the edit, instead of FireFox, the edit will work, but not always. The problem will only effect a certain articles, and other edits work fine, and even if I try maybe 15 minutes later, it will still fail. A few hours later it will be ok again. In this case, even wqile I was getting the problem, I could see other users making changes ok. --ArmadilloFromHell 03:25, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't remove notices from any pages I created myself[edit]

You said on my page:

"Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. "

I didn't. If you check the edit history of the ONLY page where I removed the speedy deletion notice, it was created by someone else back in 2004.

Please check your facts before you say stuff.

You've now removed that page - even though I hadn't created it - only updated it to make the facts correct.

Well done! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.86.42.135 (talkcontribs)

reply[edit]

So why did you delete the page altogether?

You could see from the edit history I didn't create it. Why not revert it to the last edit before I made some changes?

Just FYI that subpage is pretty much for automated bot reporting only, any human reports should be fired off tp WP:AIV - it just makes things a bit easier :) -- Tawker 16:13, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

At first I had no idea what you meant. It seems somehow it got on my watchlist, and I used that to get to what I though was the regular AIV page and posted there in error. Thanks. --ArmadilloFromHell 20:19, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How can my first warning be a final warning?[edit]

I posted 6 articles about authors of one book series within 5 minutes of each other.

I don't KEEP posting articles about them.

Haw can you give me a final warning when you haven't given me a first warning?

Don't you think that'a a bit unfair?

I wasn't spamming anyway - I just happen to know a bit about the series and decided to post some more information. Big deal!

Also, the IP address that you seem to think is a scok puppet of me (nice name!) is just my IP address and I don't always log in. Is that a problem?

Trying to stop vandalous article writer[edit]

I need to stop this username "Toria w." From vandalizing wikipedia articles. She has already vandalized the "Dave (1993 film)" wikipedia article and several others, as well as creating poorly written ones, and attacking wikipedia members. I need your help. I did not vandalize her page. I am trying to stop her. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RichardMarcJ (talkcontribs)

You are removing warning pages, creating block notices when you are not an admin, and generally making inappropriate edits. Please stop. --ArmadilloFromHell 02:21, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that! I'm new at trying to stop vandals. Carry on with the good work! RichardMarcJ 02:27, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

cleanup tagging[edit]

This edit was possibly not the best way to do what you were intending. Adding a category of two is easy enough, and does not require that much effort. As for wikifying and cleanup, well, I figure the page is so short right now that it doesn't actually help to put it into a backlogged category as is.

In reply to your concerns about notability, the article completely fulfils the criteria, it references outside sources of criticism for the subject of the article, and as such should not be considered to in any way fail that or any of the actual Wikipedia Policies. Ansell 06:26, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

Tulse Hill[edit]

That's what I'm seeing also, but don't know Мor redistributed by others, do not submit it.

Pages transcluded onto the current version of this page: Template:Archive boxhow to deal with what I think are a lot of incorrect edits that are not vandalism, but have the same effect. --ArmadilloFromHell 13:45, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the copyedit that you gave to that page as an external reader, you see the mistakes more easily than I do. Lincher 13:14, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's a weird ability I have, I see missing commas and letters fairly easily, but when I write large portions of text, I end up putting in totally wrong words and making lots of speelling errors with letters reversed. --ArmadilloFromHell 13:45, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please delete the article "Gergo Szetlik", I have created it to see how long it will stay. None of the information is correct, and this person is solely a student at a school. It was interesting to see that it is still not deleted after 2 weeks- this proves that wikipedia is a very unreliable source for information. And because of this incident this website will be blocked from viewing by our school. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Qazormator (talkcontribs)

Sorry to drop in, but I have noticed a lot of mucking about with the articles about south east London. It really is annoying, but after a while, the user seems to move on.Regan123 02:34, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I really don;t know what to do, anything where I can give a reason for reverting I revert, but (even though I was born there) I don't know enough about London to know when facts are being twisted. Some of the changes to postal codes and street names could be correct or vandalism and I have no clue. I have no idea what his goal is, whether it's just very sloppy editing, lack of knowledge or a twisted sense of humour. The best thing you can do is revert every edit that you can give a reason for, and put a warning on his page each time. Enough warnigs from enough editors and the problem can be removed. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:32, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Marian Ecker[edit]

Hi Armadillo, cute photograph of an Armadillo. You asked: who is the person's name I put at the end of my articles on Yda Addis and Alfred Shea Addis? That person is me, Marian Ecker. I have been researching Yda Addis about 7 years. I have written a book on her, the book is not yet published. But the LA Times is doing an article on Yda Addis and will most likely be in next Sunday's edition. The reason I sign my name is that both Addis's have simply vanished from history. There is no mention of either one in any canonized main stream research. However, Yda Addis will be anthologized in an upcoming scholarly literary volume next year. So, I put my name in order to give more authenticity to the article. Otherwise, I could have found an old photograph, made up a wild story about a person who never existed and submitted an article to wikipedia. How would anyone ever know if it were a real person who lived, or just a fiction in itself, but when I signed my name to the article, then the burden of proof is upon my shoulders and not that of wikipedia. Best regards, Marian Ecker. ~~

Hi Armadillo, thank you for wonderful comments. I've worked so long and so hard on Yda Addis, but I hardley ever even get a commnet. Thank you again. Marian

Read the warnings on your user talk page, and also on the IP address you used - and take them seriously. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:33, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sneaky[edit]

I've looked, these seem well intentioned edits. I'll keep an eye, two when I can spare them. Rich Farmbrough, 11:58 13 October 2006 (GMT).

Bim (1975 film)[edit]

Why have you kept deleting the information i put up regarding the 1975 movie Bim. It is not vandalism or stolen copyrighted text and definatly not nonsense. I posted the summary myself. Infamous 01, 9:38 13 October 2006 (EST).

Because the last time you posted it, you copied word for word the information in IMdb.com - that is a copyright violation - so it was deleted very quickly. (Note that I do not delete anything, I just mark items as being problems, an administrator deletes it) Yesterday you added a link to it for the second time, and I deleted it a second time, since the article did not exist. You have now created the article again, and I have not looked at it in detail, but it's not acceptable as is, and it is possible someone will delete it. If it stays it will have to be cleaned up and rewritten and no claims of why the film is important enough to list, it is not in Wiki format and has at least one spelling error. --ArmadilloFromHell 16:16, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How do you determine whether or not it is important enough and to whom do I tell this to? I assumed since the biography of George Bush was allowed then most things could be.. Infamous 01, 12:20 13 October 2006 (EST).

It's not a matter of you telling someone the article is important, but of writing the article in such a way that enough information is included that the article shows the importance. For example if I created Tom Clancey (assumming i did not exist) and all it said was Tom Clancey is an author and wrote good books it would be "speedy deleted", if I include the list of books and the ISBN numbers, a link to his publisher and his web site, and more complete information, it will not get a "speedy delete" --ArmadilloFromHell 16:35, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good boy armadillo. I will use your info to help me create a correct article. Thnx. Infamous 01, 1:01 13 October 2006 (EST).

Explanation needed[edit]

Take a look at the contributions that are being reverted without reason in the article of Turkish Armed Forces. What is vandalism about writing contributions that are not POV or violation of NPOV which is the case there? And what is the defence for reverting them back again and again? ? Not a though question. Is it not vandalism to revert such contributions? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.128.27.44 (talkcontribs)

Editor Review[edit]

Hey, I've recently put myself up for the Editor Review process. With the (seeming) end of the Vaughan-gate mess, I've been back to normal editing for the last while and wanted some outside opinions as to what kind of job I'm doing; if I'm on the right track, if there's anything I can do to improve, etc. If you have some free time, I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look and leave me some feedback! Thanks. --Chabuk 03:22, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In the article "Operation Wrath of God" I changed the english spelling of the hebrew name from "Mitzvah Zaam Ha'el" to the correct "Mivtzah Zaam Ha'el". However, you changed it back. Please correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.123.131.70 (talkcontribs)

1. I changed it because your spelling is incorrect
2. Please always post message at the end of the list not the top
3. Always sign your posts - Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages --ArmadilloFromHell 03:41, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies... I am new to editing. In any case, could you please change the article? 165.123.131.70 20:21, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure what you mean - I already changed it --ArmadilloFromHell 20:23, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It says "Mitzvah"- which means commandment. I changed it to "Mivtzah" (which means operation) twice already and you changed it back. Unless you have some understanding of the hebrew language which I lack, please do not change it again.

You mentioned that these articles should be speedied because "text is marked as copyright". I think the copyright lines in the two articles refer to the records themselves, not to the articles. However, unless someone can find some reviews of the records in question, both articles could probably be speedied as {{nn-bio}}. Perhaps the reviews are out there somewhere, just waiting to be cited; I don't know. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 04:51, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it seems to refer to the recordings themselves, but it seems "a not good thing" to have them throughout the articles since it makea them look to be copyright. If the articles were worht saving, I might have gone through and removed all the the (C} statments, but they don't look so good anyway. --ArmadilloFromHell 04:54, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

your note on personal attack[edit]

I just posted some vandalized edits with the details of the destroying party with no personal attack. I am not sure if you are referring to that but if you let me know where the attack is , i would gladly rectify it. Thanks for your time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.129.207.94 (talkcontribs)

My apologies - there is a lot going on on that page, with similar IP addresses psoting a lot of unacceptable stuff and I misread who posted what, the warning has been removed. As to whether your last post there is ok, I'm not giving an opinion. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:51, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. If you would not mind helping with that article to keep it fair and objective with openness to contribution by any well-meaning party other than a single person's voice would be great. Thanks for your time and interest.

It needs tender care and people who can negotiate with patience. I'm not good at that, so I tend to limit myself to anti-vandalism, typo fixing and cleanup and avoid sensitive issues. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:58, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trade secret - you have to have done over 20,000 edits before you are allowed to do that. --ArmadilloFromHell 01:28, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just kidding - you have to build the correct HTML string and put it in preferences signature - very messy. I did it by trial and error and looking who other fancy signatures are created. Tread with care, putting bad HTML will mess up pages, and you could get warned for doing that. --ArmadilloFromHell 01:32, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FROM ERLYRISA: Whoops - How do I delete IT? - or can you do that for me? - sorry - next time I'll make sure about my capitilisations.

Already fixed - I turned it into a redirect - however it would be good if you could add info about framing guns etc. If it's a short amount of info, then add it into Nail gun, if you can write a big enough article, then link it from Nail gun as a See also. I love nail guns, even though I shot a nail into my finger the first day I used one. --ArmadilloFromHell 05:32, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adminship[edit]

Hi ArmadilloFromHell, I think you would do well as an administrator here on Wikipedia. 2 months of editing is usually not long enough to get "elected" (almost nobody succeeds before 3 months), so I'm just asking you to think about it for now. If you are interested, you can participate in WP:RFA -- it would help you learn some idiosyncratic criteria some "voters" require of candidates (such as edit summary usage, edit counts in certain namespaces, etc.), and how candidates are expected to behave during the RFA (no canvassing for support, don't harass opposers). There is more information on the RFA process at WP:GRFA, and information on what administrators do at WP:ARL. Overall your contributions look great; I'm happy to nominate you whenever you're ready. The category is already there, below, so a "See also" is just repeating the information.' But All Natural Foods needs a hand. Tallaussiebloke 23:53, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, after I posted that change I was thinking it was redundant. Being a Marmite addict, I thought it would be nice to connect all the spreads in a more obvious way - but I guess there is no "correct" way to do it. I think many users of Wiki don't realize the purpose of categories. Thanks for taking my change off. --ArmadilloFromHell 23:58, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Weird it was a duplicate article that I was changing to a redirect. --ArmadilloFromHell 00:08, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Would you read before you revert[edit]

If you knew anything about the Russian Navy, you would know those carriers are never even going to be laid down or designed, I think this was even in a U.S. intelligence estimate. Why don't you assign someone else to follow me around, you seem to have some sort of grudge against me. Probably a republican. DonkeyKong876

Speculation - [1] --ArmadilloFromHell 02:49, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have tagged everything I did as vandalism, maybe you should try doing some actual reading instead of reverting without reading

Because it was. You have removed speedy tags multiple times, created a questionable article, made links to an article tagged for deletion, removed warnings from your talk page multiple times, etc. A total failure to follow the guidelines and co-operate. --ArmadilloFromHell 02:49, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

At least I'm trying, your M.O. basically seems to be an asshole to people who are trying to contribute. What have you done?

I spend my time finding people who vandalize pages, trying to protecting the integrity of pages, removing spam, eliminating sheer nonsense and vanity pages, and trying to keep my cool dealing with people who will not co-operate. You might try reading Wikipedia:No personal attacks *** WP:BIO *** Wikipedia:Speedy deletions *** WP:NOT --ArmadilloFromHell 03:08, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You might try reviewing the section on personal vendettas yourself. This is typical of a right wing republican, trying to censor the LGBT community

Another thing for you to read --> Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages <-- Note I was not the only one reverting your changes, and note especially that I have no ability to delete pages. So stop making accusations that are specious. It's very simple - you were unable to make an article that proved the notability of it's subject (see WP:BIO) and it got deleted. Live with it. I've created several people pages that got deleted. --ArmadilloFromHell 03:48, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alan Soady[edit]

Thanks for your message. I didn't remove the delete tag. If you look at the history, this was done by someone called Alex Bakharev (who I don't know). Someone else has now put the delete tag back on, so I will simply put the hangon tag back in place. Hope this is clear. --Nmcmurdo 13:36, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RV - my mistake and apologies. I just looked at the message in the history instead of looking carefully, very sloppy on my part. --ArmadilloFromHell 13:39, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately I have no idea which person you are talking about - since the articel no longer exists. I can only presume that you created an article which did not fit the guidelines in WP:BAND or WP:BIO and I tagged it. Since I may end up tagging many of thess a day I've no idea which one. Once I tag an article, an admin reviews it and it gets deleted in most cases. Thousands and thousands of bands get added, and I would think the majority get deleted as they do not belong in Wikipedia. --ArmadilloFromHell 04:34, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your program Popups acidentially reverted an article back to a vandalized edit. Mkdw 05:16, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I reverted then I looked at who made the redirect and it was an admin, so I reverted back. You may want to think about reverting again. Personally I don't think it should be a redirect in this case, but it's a clever way to make an article go away. For some reason, it seems to work against people who constantly revert speedy tags. --ArmadilloFromHell 05:22, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry.[edit]

The guide to adding something new is very confusing. You still did not answer my quetsion which I find to be rude and insulting. Please reply in due course. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew Voerman (talkcontribs)

The article you posted appears to be nonsense, but you are welcome to change it to prove it's validity and that the person exists and meets the guidelines of WP:BIO - I must admit that I know very little, and have never heard of placenta parties. Also I never heard of the Communist Republic of Yichen Tsa- perhaps you dreamed about it last week. You should anticipate that an admin will review it very shortly and delete it. --ArmadilloFromHell 05:34, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re. Ernie Green[edit]

Hi, Arm. The gentleman asked me if he could post the content via my e-mail. It was written by a friend of his and seems to establish his notability. I'll take responsibility for it and help clean it up. Thanks for all the good work you do.  :)

Regarding the Inclusive Absence of Cooperation from Colin_Keigher, Logo, and other issues[edit]

As I was writing this message, I was just blocked by KillerChihuahua?!? on my talk page, but had made no edits since I last messaged you. There should be no reason for this. Since I am blocked, I am unable to reply. How wise of that murderer.

Back to my letter... Your note: "Someone using this IP address posted a message on my user talk page. If you cannot have the courtesy to follow the instuctions and put messages at the bottonm, you will not get a reply. --ArmadilloFromHell 19:30, 25 October 2006 (UTC)"

Brief comment:

  • You spelled “instuctions” and “bottonm” incorrectly.
  • I write with respect and precision; I expect the mannerism to be mutual.
  • Hell is a bad word

In Reply: That was I who posted a message on your user talk page. If you cannot have the decency of moving my message to the bottom as you would prefer, instead of deleting it, then I shall do it myself.

This was my previous unanswered, polite and honest yet very serious and direct message:

"You have posted a logo on my user talk page, without any explanation. Your message was in error. I have read what constitutes vandalism and have not made repeated vandalization of articles. Reply with an explanation, and remove your logo immediately. Thank you."

I have followed your preference of "notices at the end," and expect you as a perceived helpful admin to reply to my messages under this category of "Logo," and not on the university's IP address. Regardless of your ability to follow instructions, I will respond, as I am responsible and keen in following up on my actions. It is your duty and obligation to do so as well.

I am, however, disappointed in your lack of assistance. I use Wikipedia all the time as a finite yet useful resource, and have never had such annoyance as Logos advertising nonsense on the talk page I am currently using until I leave the library. As you may observe at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Central_Intelligence_Agency&action=history, I have not vandalized after it was reverted. What I did do is to NOT write on the main page but to put {NPOV}} & {bias}} which is justified. But stupid Colin Keigher reverted it back: (See) 04:05, 24 October 2006 67.2.148.181 (Talk) (Revert back to the last version by Colin Keigher) without any reason.

In other news, you may address me as Liberty. How would you wish to be address Mrs./Mr. AfH? Would AfH be prefer or AFH or afh, etc.?

I represent Freedom and the individual will who are not Killers or from Hell. I am your friend—do not make me your enemy! We are the good people.

I also have questions that are off-topic for you and would hope you, as an admin, would have an answer. I want to make my name, Liberty, a certain color. Will you direct me to the page where I may learn how? I am also interested in the Manual of Style for Wiki. Where am I to locate this? How do I revert an article back to previous versions? How do I find what time it is on Wikipedia? What time zone does Wikipedia use? How do I keep the pathetic US flag {{{alias}}} without having to type all that? Where is the “minor edit box”? Furthermore, if I have future question regarding wikipedia, who do I contact?

Any questions, request for clarification/explanations, opinions, and rebuttals may be directed here, and I will promptly reply.

Kind Regards,

Liberty

P.S. Cooperation is the best policy, and we shall see if my attempt to do so gets anywhere.

I am not going to spend any time answering all the above for several reason. An anon IP address can reprenet several people, so who knows who is doing what, one person can complait he never vandalzied nothing while another disrupts Wiki. I know I make spelling errors and invert letters, it is a disability I have, that is why I do not write too much or create many articles, instead I specialize in vandal trapping. In your case, I am happy to have had you blocked, I can only wish it was permanently, You are a prime example of the problem with IP addresses, you are a person with knowledge about Wiki, who comes to create problems and troll and fight. If you had been forced to have a name instead of an IP, you could have been given a permanent block. --ArmadilloFromHell 03:15, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Thank you for removing the vandalism on the Phonics page. I appreciate your diligence! How did you realize the page had been vandalized?

--Kearnsdm 01:26, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For some reason (I forget why) I had Brad on my watchlist, so I noticed the change and checked it and reverted the change. Once I see vandalsim, I check for other edits by the same person, since vandsls tend to mess up multiple articles. Glad to fix it up and thanks for noticing. --ArmadilloFromHell 03:04, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
In regard to I am your friend—do not make me your enemy - I'm afraid you are totally wrong - it's a delusion on your part. And please consider the discussion finished, future posts from you will most likely be deleted from this page. --ArmadilloFromHell 03:20, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Underrated - speedy...[edit]

Hmm... I just looked up underrated and it didn't have an article. I checked overrated and it has a Wikitionary redirect. So I checked Wikitionary and it had articles for both underrated and overrated so I copied the content from overrrated to underrated to also have it be a redirect. I guess its a matter of consistency -- I thought I was doing the right thing, but you obviously disagree. --Ben 03:47, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tagged it cause it looked like a vandal article, but since you are not, I'll remove it. I just don't quite understand that the article purpose is, but there is a large number of things I don't know. --ArmadilloFromHell 03:51, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Upcoming template changes[edit]

Hi, I've just noticed that you recently left a templated userpage message. I'm just bringing to your attention that the format and context of these templates will be shortly changing. It is recommended that you visit WikiProject user warnings and harmonisation discussion pages to find out how these changes could affect the templates you use. We also would appreciate any insights or thoughts you may have on the subject. Thanks for your understanding. Best regards Khukri (talk . contribs) 14:20, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - will do. --ArmadilloFromHell 14:21, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When I saw this title come up on the new articles, I was very surprised to see your name alongside it. The page history seems to imply that you are the author of the page, which clearly is not the case. Looking at the history, there is no indication of the author, so I am curious how you knew, and why the name is not there now. Am I being clear, because I am confused. ---Charles 14:54, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If it had content, I have no idea, if it only had a pink block of text, then it could be I tagged it for deletion a fraction of a second after it was deleted, that causes the article to be recreated with only my name on the history. From the log history it looks as though something like that happened. It was originally created by [[4]] and if you look at the history on User:Mycoolnameforwikipedia he made another attack there that was removed. --ArmadilloFromHell 19:01, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I understand now. Thanks for clearing that up. It was just a strange turn of events, that left an unclear edit history. ---Charles 01:49, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I expanded the David Ohanian article and removed the speedy tag. It's still not a perfect article, but the subject is notable. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 04:57, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yep I noticed your change a few minutes ago. Nice job. I've seen you revert db-bios of mine before - always feel free to do so, since you end up fixing them up nicely. --ArmadilloFromHell 05:08, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why they hate this magazine ?[edit]

why they hate this magazine ??? 2old2play

and you hate it too right .. it's good magazine i've download it and it's about games .. or you are too old to play . --sharif aly 09:09, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I never said I hated it - all I said is that you violated the rules by removing the tag from it (that another editor put on), and that you recreated a previously deleted article. I could not hate the magazine since I know nothing about it, and your article says nothing about it - so I still know nothing - and that is why the article will be deleted. I'm very very old, and maybe you are too young to edit here. --ArmadilloFromHell 09:14, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You should learn how to sign posts - see Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages - since your signature does not work --ArmadilloFromHell 09:17, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please help me edit it and make it good article please .. !

i made it before they say advertisement .. but it's not i like this magazine and other i made a downloadable magazines section for the magazine that you could download pdf magazines i hope you take a look at it.

why every body say to my articles that it's spam or .. is it because i said free ??

I'm looking for help in both articles : Freeware alternatives for commercial software and 2old2play

why[edit]

did u delete Rebecca Cutrona? that was a factual article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ONEAJEWTWOAJEW (talkcontribs)

Because a one sentence statement about someone who is not notable is not acceptable as an article. --ArmadilloFromHell 03:29, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Let's see. If she intends to contribute constructively, she can log in now; and if she only wants to spam for her website, she probably won't come back after the block anyway. (As was case of Juraj cisarik after I blocked him for five minutes.) - Mike Rosoft 07:19, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What about the links to the same site put in under the IP address, I think there are around 12 of them still in articles? I'm shutting down for the night, But I'll probably delete them tomorrow since that whole site seems to look to be spammy and not worthwhile to link to. --ArmadilloFromHell 07:25, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Before getting too mad at this one, maybe it'd be best to check out the user page first, which might explain a few silly changes. :) -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 02:36, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I'll believe it this time, usually I'm a little doubtfull. There was one last month that claimed to be 9 years old, but based on the edits, highly doubtfull. Funny, though I'm just changing something she messed up a bit, but I was not going to warn here on it, just looks like sloppy removal of a line when inserting another line in. --ArmadilloFromHell 02:40, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hangon tags[edit]

Please do not remove the {{hangon}} tag from articles you tag for speedy, as you did here. Even though the editor misapplied it, you should have fixed it instead of reverting them. Thanks! --Aguerriero (talk) 04:34, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well I suppose that might be correct, but when someone keeps messing them up despite multiple warnings and advice, I really don't feel I have to do that. I'd like to see it spelled out what the correct procedure is - so there is no confusion. --ArmadilloFromHell 04:46, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to see it spelled out too. He obviously didn't understand either the hangon tag or why his articles were getting tagged, so clearly communication was the key in that case. Looks like he got the message in the end! Take care --Aguerriero (talk) 14:58, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am lost with all the symbols so any/all help is appreciated.
