Dark Tower

[edit]

Thanks for the compliments. :) Ted could probably get an article being as he's appeared in two books and a movie. I think Finli and Pimli are important enough for their own articles as well, although I don't know if some admin later on will say it doesn't satisfy notability requirements (hopefully not, but they have done that in the past). I think Finli had an illustration in the last book, let me see if I can pull that up. --CyberGhostface 16:10, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Tower Portal

[edit]

Just wanted to thank you for your contributions to the content in the portal. Knowing others are contributing makes it easier for me to focus on the design of the pages. I am attempting to keep things within the "rules" set up by the Dark Tower Project, if for no other reason than I don't want the hard work of those who actually appreciate a central point in the wiki to be erased by the established and somewhat territorial members of that project.

Thanks again!

Fair use rationale for Image:Eldred_Jonas.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Eldred_Jonas.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BigrTex 15:11, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to get Randall Flagg's article to either GA or FA status. I've put a lot of effort in the article in the last couple of weeks, expanding and reworking various sections along with adding sources and external information such as quotes and analysis. I put it up for peer review at Wikipedia:Peer review/Randall Flagg. Any suggestions you have would be welcome.--CyberGhostface 18:37, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Randall Flagg is now a Good Article

[edit]

Just thought you'd like to know that Randall Flagg has now passed Good article status.--CyberGhostface (talk) 02:21, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've nominated RF for FA status. If you think it fits the requirements, your thoughts on it would be appreciated.--CyberGhostface (talk) 19:56, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the article failed FA but if you want I'll notify you if I list it again. As for Locke, if you could she me the quote, I'll if it could be added.--CyberGhostface (talk) 03:25, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Tower WP discussion

[edit]

Greetings Dark Tower WikiProject member, I would like to invite you to palaver about a possible expansion of the Dark Tower Project to include all Stephen King related items. I feel that the large amount of projects related to the author warrants his own Project—but as this one already exists—hesitate to begin a new one. Please feel free to leave comments of any kind and be assured that The Dark Tower will be held in the highest regard within the new King Project. Long days and pleasant nights. Raising Arizona

[edit]

No problem at all. :) I think some other editors I know of want to work on that article eventually. It's one of my favourite comedies, so perhaps we could band some together and push it to make it a Good Article or something? Cheers! Andrzejbanas (talk) 05:15, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Voodoo Doughnut, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. tedder (talk) 15:18, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, got that source up. Was having trouble finding the source I was thinking of. Got it listed, but I sort of suck at references, so it probably needs to be tweaked.Artemisstrong (talk) 00:38, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
