List of Latin phrases[edit]

Your move of almost all pages covering the lists of Latin phrases was ill-considered. The title style you chose does not conform with WP:TITLE and WP:DAB (parentheses are used to disambiguate article titles, not to give them more precision). There are many hundreds of links to these lists, including those on other language Wikipedias, which now have to go through redirects or are even non-functional in case of redirected redirects (although these have now been repaired by bots).

Such a massive move action should be discussed first to evaluate repercussions; the obvious place for such a discussion would be Talk:List of Latin phrases. Did you raise your intention to move these articles anywhere?

Also, your execution of the page moves was flawed: your edit of {{Latin intro}} and your edit of {{Latin outtro}} were incomplete, you apparently forgot to move List of Latin phrases: V, and didn't adjust List of Latin phrases or List of Latin phrases (full).

I suggest you revert all your page moves and edits regarding these lists. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 10:23, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
