Antarctica[edit]

Do you really live in Antarctica?

European Union[edit]

Please, don't just make changes to the lede (or really any section) without reading the talk. It's a contentious topic, and the current state is always a result of extensive discussion. Lawdroid (talk)

Salto di Quirra[edit]

The article states that Salto di Quirra is the largest military range in Europe. A joke. The map is also totally wrong because it would include even the city of Nuoro. Salto di Quirra range is about 120 square kilometers (and Teulada, the. 2nd largest range in Italy, about 80). Take a look at the ranges in Germany or England, countries that are much more densly populated than Sardinia. The Salisbury Plain range in southern England has an extension of about 390 square kilometers, and there are many ranges in Germany of a similar size, between 200 and 300 square kilometers. It seems to me that the article just repeats the hysterical complaints of some ignorants who haver never heard of Grafenwoehr, Bergen-Hohne etc. It is absolutely ridiculous to complain about the size of the military ranges in Sardinia. On the other hand, the terrible suffering of people (cancer, mutations etc) is absolutely scandalous. But that is not related to the size of the ranges, not even to the exercises in general, but obviously to the fact that presumably for decades the italian military destroyed old ammo on the site instead of removing it. If that range would have been used correctly, the mentioned desasters would have never occurred. The ranges on the island, their number, their size are not the problem. It's about how they are being used.190.148.95.116 (talk) 05:51, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Roberta Pinotti. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
