Have a look at WP:SYNTH, I am not sure why you chose the wording you did for your edit, stating that Finland would be a ″British protected state″. It's a mutual security deal, meaning that both countries have agreed to come to each others protection in case of need. Your wording almost implied Finland to be a little colony under protection under the United Kingdom, which as you should know, is not the case even with this mutual defense alliance.
