Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 02:56, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits[edit]

Hi Asfd666:

Welcome to Wikipedia. I notice that you've made a number of edits tagged as minor edits. The minor edit tag should only be used for superficial changes which do not affect the meaning of the page; see WP:MINOR. However, your addition of a section to Talk:Solar System, for example, couldn't be considered superficial and shouldn't be marked as minor. Flagging edits as minor might cause them not to show up on users' watch lists. —Alex (ASHill | talk | contribs) 18:23, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

June 2012[edit]

Please stop using talk pages such as Talk:Solar System for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article; not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. and other articles. Please make sure that your talk page posts focus on the article itself, not a general discussion of the subject of the article. Civility[edit]

Hi Asfd666: please be civil and respectful in addressing other editors on Wikipedia. I note your recent edits to Talk:Comet Shoemaker–Levy 9, which were very much neither civil nor respectful. —Alex (ASHill | talk | contribs) 08:29, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talk[edit]

Article talk pages are for discussing the article, not its subject. Please don't post random stuff on talk pages. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 18:18, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removing AfD template[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Spark accelerator. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. Snotbot  t • c »  22:48, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of fictional substances in the Marvel Universe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unnotable list of fictional elements. And I'm pretty sure Titanium actually exists.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. August 2012[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you use talk pages for inappropriate discussions, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You are using talk pages to add your own ideas about spaceships on the moon, etc - none of this belongs on Wikipedia and you've been told that. You've also been told not to mark your edits as minor unless they are minor and you've ignored that today. You've added unsourced material. This really has to stop. Dougweller (talk) 08:37, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Dougweller (talk) 19:10, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline of esoteric history[edit]

I've deleted this as patent nonsense, although it may have been meant as a hoax. Obviously something you made up, and very carelessly: 111000bc, a world wide flood occurs, the fifth race repopulates the earth under Virgo 7000bce the fifth race is formed by the Sumerians

which is obviously nonsense.

If you do something like this again I will conclude that you are not here in the interests of Wikipedia and block you once again. Dougweller (talk) 05:51, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of alien races in Marvel Comics

Proposed deletion of Adventure science fiction[edit]

The article Adventure science fiction has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a recognised subgenre. This article instead describes space opera, military science fiction, science fiction opera, cyberpunk etc.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Disambiguation link notification for July 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ravager (DC Comics), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Terra (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
