Editing of Write ( )

[edit]

I've added a table for explaining the arguments in the function prototype, the function had been originally explained in words, and it was all clumped together. I also added an external link to a man page. Srinathkr3 (talk) 10:04, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ashish!

[edit]

I'm still a bit confused about IRC :(

I'm not sure but you don't need to do any thing like that. All you need is to go to following link [1] and some info required to enter into chat room.

Regarding, the my green user page, you need to work on templates, I fount it at User:Andrew Hampe/Templates/User Wrapper.

Cheers,

Using IRC

[edit]

Getting a little too carried away, aren't we? :D Don't worry. irc can be a little confusing. You don't need to use an irc client. Just go to this link [2] in your browser and login. As far as using ircII on linux is concerned, you aren't able to connect because you aren't connected to a server in the first place. Follow these steps on the linux terminal:

irc

[edit]

/SERVER irc.freenode.net

[edit]

<enter nickname>

[edit]

/join #wikipedia-en-classroom

[edit]

btw what made you think you needed to setup a moodle server??? lol

I saw your sandbox, the program's nice (that's obvious... coming from you). I edited your sandbox by mistake, but i don't know whether the change will be reflected. Did you see my sandbox ? User:Srinathkr3/sandbox —Preceding undated comment added 15:04, 15 September 2011 (UTC).

Invitation to join WP:INCOTM

[edit]
Collaboration of the month
WP:INCOTM is a WikiProject where editors from different parts of India choose an article and work on it collaboratively throughout the month.
It is a great opportunity to interact with experienced editors from the community and to get the feel of collaboration - one of the reasons and advantages of editing Wikipedia! There's no signing up. All you have to do is just edit the article which is selected as the collaboration of the month (COTM). I welcome you to join the project and contribute in your best possible way! :)

The COTM for March 2012 is A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. Happy collaborating! BPositive (talk) 15:45, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:14, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
