Censorship[edit]

Wikipedia is not a place to publish essays, first off. When inserting material, please use inline citations and follow correct grammar conventions (see WP:MOS). Inline citations are inside the text, not before the text. To leave me further messages, use my main talk page - the Permissions talk page is for experienced users to talk about the use of my user privileges on Wikipedia.Jasper Deng (talk) 03:48, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ashleymarieburns. I saw your question on Jasper Deng's talk page, and wanted to make sure you got a sufficient answer. We can't just "put up content for a few days" if it isn't appropriate for the article, but that certainly doesn't mean we can't help you formulate appropriate content to add. I'd be more than happy to help you with that, and if you're interested, acclimate you with how some aspects of wikipedia operate. Feel free to leave a comment here, or (preferably) on my talk page if you have any questions, or you'd like a little help. Good luck on your assignment! All the best,   — Jess· Δ 05:01, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well thank you. You said in this message to reply preferably on your talk page, but then I went there and it said that if you left someone a message, we were to reply on our talk page. I'm not sure what is the best way to reply. Anyways, yes, I got an answer, but yours was much more polite. I am no longer interested in putting my article on Wikipedia. The assignment's main objective was to be on Wikipedia, and the assignment has already been graded and returned to us. Had you read the content I was trying to add? I did not personally feel it was of bad quailty, or inappropriate to the article I added it to, especially since my classmates had less than satisfactory work and were able to publish. I must say, though, you explained my errors in a much more polite way, and a person is more likely to cooperate with what you ask of them if you ask them nicely. So thank you, but do not worry. I no longer have an issue. Ashleymarieburns (talk) 02:12, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

April 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Advantages and disadvantages of censorship, from its old location at User:Ashleymarieburns/Advantages and Disadvantages of Censorship. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. North America1000 06:41, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Advantages and disadvantages of censorship, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 21:01, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
