100-word list for your Mother tongue[edit]

Good day! Could you help me and provide translations for the following 100 basic word in your mother tongue. Not in the standard Hindi but in your native local variety (dialect) if you (used to) speak any (and then indicate please how you call your language /dialect and precise location like state –district – town/village). If there are synonyms or known dialectal variants provide them with comments if possible. Also please indicate if you know that certain words are borrowing. You can fill in right here using either IPA transcription or some other spelling you like (just describe your conventions). Thank you in advance! --Koryakov Yuri 13:01, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hindi Wikipedia[edit]

Hi,

Hindi wiki is very short of contributors. Hindi being a language of many is in very neglected state even on Wikipedia. Other languages which have way smaller speakers have more articles on their respective Wikipedia than Hindi wikipedia. The situation is so bad that there are only 2 fully active editors and 3-4 more contributors who are creating and expanding the hindi wiki. I request you to join us in this attempt of making Hindi wiki a respectful internet resource for information in Hindi.

Indian Collaboration of the Month[edit]

Collaboration of the month
Hi there! WP:INCOTM is a WikiProject where editors from different parts of India choose an article and work on it collaboratively throughout the month.
It is a great opportunity to interact with experienced editors from the community and to get the feel of collaboration - one of the reasons and advantages of editing Wikipedia!

This month, Anil Kumble has been the article chosen for GA/FA of the month. And you being a fan of Indian Cricket team, I invite to you to join this collaboration and contribute in making Anil Kumble a good article. BPositive (talk) 06:33, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
