Hey, this DoD report DoD 5000-4-M Cost Analysis Guidance and Procedures may be of some help with this article. Can't say I understand it all that well, but it may be of help here. -Fnlayson 22:13, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Jeff! I'm well aware of the DoD 5000 series, but I was trying to provide something much simpler – and broader than just the latest US treatment. There should without a doubt be something written on this topic in Wikipedia, but it's not on my shortlist. Cheers, Askari Mark (Talk) 00:53, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, wow.

[edit]

Just wanted to say...This is possibly the best explanation I have ever seen of government cost accounting on aircraft procurement. Thanks so very much. --Penta (talk) 18:44, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Move to WPAIR-space

[edit]

Mark, would you consider moving or copying this to WP:AIR's projectspace? I think it would be a very useful essay to have there, especially as you're not very active at this time. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 07:24, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I created the stub flyaway cost, because it seemed like a needed article. But since you are obviously way more knowledgeable than me, would you consider expanding that article? Thue | talk 21:46, 2 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
