I wanted to give you a puppy picture, but I am bad at wikipedia...[edit]

Honestly I tried and now there is a cute picture of a pug floating around maybe on my wiki page (oops).

Anyways, I read your article and I am very impressed! You have chosen an interesting topic and gone into depth to give your readers plenty of information. Overall, you have a clearly organized layout and the sub headings are in a logical order. It is clear that you are SO close to being totally done with your article. I only have some minor notes.

In the first paragraph it should be "Spices HAVE been..."

Give an example of some of the herbs listed by the Chinese in "The Classic Herbal" if you can.

I like the "common spices by region" section it is very well organized.

Neutral content throughout the article; no bias detected.

Separate the sentences in the saffron section (under perfumes) by either a period or a semicolon.

You mention “pre-history” as a time when spices were used, but in my understanding “pre-history” means “before humans” am I wrong in my understanding? Or do you mean that ancient (non-human) species used spices as medication?

I love the spices and their affect section, and how you organized it by type as well.

Great job! — Preceding unsigned comment added by TpetersonTU20 (talkcontribs) 02:36, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
