You know as well as I do that calling them "negro" is not a nationality. The point you're trying to push is made clear by the image you've added to the article. Let's not get into an edit war over this, please.  RasputinAXP  talk contribs 18:52, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Asker, please discuss such changes on the article talk page before reinstating them. Punkmorten 19:52, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To RasputinAXP: I am not trying to make any point. I am just adding facts. That's all. Prove me wrong. If media has some PC taboos on certain terms/issues that shouldn't be guide to my/your behavior and on Wikipedia. - Asker 3:31 PST 11 jan 2006

It is a fact that "negro" is not a nationality. Their nationality is American, as they were born here. To refer to her murderers as "negro" is clearly an attempt at pushing a point of view; see WP:NPOV for more information. The goal of Wikipedia is to be neutral.  RasputinAXP  talk contribs 01:32, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I will change this to African American, how's this?
How does it matter if this is nationality or not? This is what they are called. If this is the banned term (Negro) why wasn't it removed from Wikipedia?
If you want to say African-American, that's fine. It's politically neutral. Really, for an encyclopedic article, it doesn't need to be mentioned at all, since you added the front page of the Post with the kid in the car. You're from Seattle, I assume you knew Nicole?  RasputinAXP  talk contribs 01:42, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, clearly you either didn't read Negro or chose to ignore that to use it today is an insult. Nationality came up because you defended the use of the term as being their nationality in the article history.  RasputinAXP  talk contribs 01:44, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Message[edit]

Hi, Asker. I didn't delete your message; I have merely moved it to Rasputin's talk page, where he is more likely to view it. [1] It is a standard procedure to leave new comments on user talk pages instead of user pages, and edits to the latter without the user's permission will be reverted quickly. Neither of us was acting out of malicious intentions, so please avoid such accusatory statements as "You do random deletions". Thank you, Sango123 (talk) 02:00, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Murderer rudy fleming.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Murderer rudy fleming.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
