Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from List of tourist attractions in Hyderabad into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Throast (talk | contribs) 14:33, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 14:45, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Ahmedabad. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Taj Hotel Patna[edit]

Hello AslamMurmu,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Taj Hotel Patna for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

The page JW Marriott Kolkata has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done for the following reason:

G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Article creation[edit]

Hi, Aslam - I'm here to welcome you to Wikipedia (WP), and to offer my help if you need a better understanding of WP:GNG, WP:NOTGUIDE, and WP:PROMO. Some of the hotel articles you created do not meet our notability guidelines, and are written like an advertisement. Unfortunately, they have been, or soon will be, deleted per WP:G11. They must first pass GNG, keeping in mind that WP is not a travel guide, and we don't consider travel guides as independent WP:RS that count toward notability. If, for example, a hotel that is an historic landmark and included in the register of historic places, it would easily pass GNG. Also, when writing about cities and local neighborhoods, please see WP:LOCAL, and present your articles in a dispassionate, non-promotional, pragmatic tone. If you need further assistance writing articles, please contact WP:Teahouse/Host. Another important note: if you are being paid to create these articles, please add a disclosure statement on your user page, and familiarize yourself with WP:COI. Happy editing! A tag has been placed on Category:Hotels in Patna indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read!
