I have had this account for quite a while, and this seems to not be a responsible or respectful block in line with malfeasance. I kindly request information on why I was blocked from editing. - As noted in the block log, all of your edits so far have been to argue over sensitive topics and promote a battleground mentality. Calling other editors "children" was the last straw. If you're interested in editing about topics unrelated to gender, I am open to a conditional unblock. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 01:55, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
- While I respect your assertion, one edit was calling for good faith over a needless insult against another user, one was providing some context with regard to a claim made previously with lackluster evidence, and the last one was a needless insult, but im sure you can appreciate is frustrating watching a resource fall victim to an active edit war that seems to be continuing and you banning me while I am trying to get protection to a page to slow down the still active edit war, which is in line with wikipedias policy of de-escalation with regard to a continuing edit war. I can certainly appreciate a sensitive topic, which is why I have pushed to keep in line with WP policies regarding gender issues, but I feel this ban was needless. If you want to push a conditional unban that is fine, I will move back to discussing flavoproteins, however I feel this was a knee jerk reaction, given one of the edits explicitly cannot and should not be interpreted in anyway to be inflaming tensions if you truly believe in the WP:AGF policies of WP. (You can always appeal the restriction later, to me and/or WP:AN. Also, I misspoke: Our standard topic area delineation here is "gender-related disputes or controversies and people associated with them", not the slightly broader topic area of gender.)
