Why I reverted your post at Talk:Eugenics[edit]

It truly breaks my heart to read this, but you still cannot use the article talk page as a WP:FORUM. I hope that makes sense. If you have specific changes, backed up by reliable sources, which you would like to discuss, feel free to discuss them.

Also, since this is a user talk page, I'll offer this: I am just one person, but I believe that you have worth and value just as you are. People who talk about "genetic quality" are making subjective judgements dressed up like science. They are simply wrong. There is not and never has been any scientific rationale for judging one person's qualities to be better than another's. One set of qualities may be more fitted to a given environment, but if that environment were to change, another set of qualities might be favored. There is no absolute position from which to judge fitness apart from environment. And of course we humans largely create our environment, though by no means with perfect control. And then there is the mistaken view that homogeneity is always beneficial for a species. It isn't. Rather, diversity –– including neurodiversity –– is a strength. Ah, but it's not actually my own thought but arose from more than one person away from Wikipedia thinking this - I would have had sources at the time more so to back this up and may take more time to find where I originally found them now, would have kept a record if I had edited the article itself but I felt it was highly contested and therefore used the talk page. I therefore was not using the talk page as a forum for my own original thought, instead based on other people's thoughts not merely my own. Even if this may not have been obvious to people just reading the talk page. The general position is that it is still a fringe theory and wouldn't be accepted that it was mainstream. However, that is by the bias in the definition itself as if it was mainstream-accepted, the mainstream would then never accept that it was. So, by definition, it will always fail based on what is generally considered to be the case. Despite the fact the view is held by people beyond myself and does appear to have evidenced basis as much of the rest of society has fallen into groupthink, cognitive dissonance and normalization of deviance (again, not just my idea) - but, again, it is just exhaustive and would require hours of work for me to find all the sources to back myself up on this so therefore in practice I am effectively prevented from doing so, as we all have limited resources/ability.
